“This is not exactly my kind of restaurant. Friend recommended it and I eat here every chance I get now. The Korean pork belly sliders are my favorite. The menu was a little overwhelming just because I’m not familiar with the food they provide. But, this is an excellent choice if you are visiting.“

“Willie’s has been a favorite since they were a little hole in the wall in Industiplex. I was so disappointed Friday to order crawfish and get 3 pounds of tiny crawfish that peeled and tasted like they had been boiled the day before and reheated. Plus when the crawfish were gone there were enough tiny claws to cover the bottom of the tray. Come on guys, you can do better! Fried cheese logs are no longer logs. They have shrunk in size but not price. Really disappointing…new management? Not sure but won’t go back for crawfish, that’s for sure!“

“My first time here at J.Alexander's. So worth the trip from Lafayette. My entire meal has been remarkable. I ordered the red wine blend Parradoxx, which had a slight Pinot Nior flavor to it. I ordered a house salad with Blue Cheese dressing which was rich and full of woodsy flavors. My salad was a big hit with me. Vegetables were crisp and served with beautiful presentation. I ordered the Filet with Berinaise sauce and baked potatoe. It was cooked so perfectly that it was truly a work of art. For dessert I got the chocolate cake. I am not usually a chocolate fan at all but this did not disappoint!! The rich cocoa blended perfectly with the vanilla ice cream. Now for the service... my waiter, Ali, was so good. His knowledge of the menu was very good, but his quiet professionalism was undeniable. He checked all the boxes as to dressings and preparation, but he additionally checked for how and when you wanted everything served. Ali, eyes were constantly scanning to be certain that my meal and needs were being met. Now, I don't know anything about Ali, except that he was young, but he could have been at home in the finest restaurants in Chicago! His attention to detail made my incredible lunch even more spectacular! An incredible meal, prepared exquisitely, with a waiter like Ali! Just absolutely perfect!“

“We loved the Hwy 61 stuffed burger and Jamaican wings, loaded fries were yummy too. The Voodoo Punch is sooooo refreshing!“

“Erin, Kelsey, Shelly, and Cat were amazing! We had a Christmas party that went from 20 people initially to 40 people and they adjusted and made it wonderful! A week later and everyone is still talking about how great the service, atmosphere, and food all were. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!“

“Outstanding in all aspects! We got to town a little late & stopped in just for a lite bite & drinks. The oysters, black and blue tips & wine were so wonderful we returned after business the next night to try more. Round 2 included the Feta Whipped Brussels, Creole French dip & Duck + Butter beans. “First time visiting this establishment and kind of a hidden gem on Cloverdale. I ordered the hamburger 🍔 and fries 🍟

The hamburger possess a thick, juicy patty that I very much enjoyed eating my preferred dressing. Oh, you may have to share the ketchup bottle. 🙂It was very reasonably priced for your taste buds Fiesta! 🎉 👍“

“I don’t know if anyone reads anything from this site but I wanted to post a rave for the Baton Rouge location. My mom was transferred into hospice care on the day I ate at your restaurant. It was a horrible day until the nicest server/waitress I have ever had sat us down. She couldn’t have known what we were going through or how much she brightened our day. She was pregnant, I know that. Otherwise I don’t remember her name. One of those days I guess. She just had this light about her and when she smiled Everything seemed a little better. I think God put her there at that moment. Hopefully she will be there the next time we go. But if not I was posting this to tell her thankyou for being you. And good luck with your pregnancy. You are going to be an awesome mom. You are full of light and love. May God bless you abundantly.“

“The steaks are excellent and the server, Mary, was beyond expectations. The entire meal, in my opinion, was heaven on Earth. Going to Doe's is a pleasure that I drive 30 miles to enjoy at the very least once a month and often more frequently. The drinks are top notch. Tonight I had the featured French Onion Soup and it was surpassed only by the French Onion Soup in Paris, France. Overall I would give the entire experience a TEN.“

“The food was amazing. We enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu which included the French onion soup, fried oyster salad and for entrees we ate the New Orleans Crab Cake Benedict and Short Rib Benedict. The manger was so gracious as to give me a small bottle of champagne to take home since all the desserts were made with chocolate and I am allergic. We will definitely be back for the dinner menu. Fantastic table side service, beautiful ambiance and excellent master chef food.“

“I walked over here from the hotel Indigo where i was staying, where they seemed to balk at my need for a late dinner (9 pm). The bartender/server Delvin at Kingfish made me feel welcome and took excellent care of me. It was relaxing and comfortable in the bar area too. This man is an asset to your hotel and restaurant!“

For alot of us it was our first visit and everyone had a great time. the food and drinks were delicious and the party host was very friendly and the service was top notch! highly recommend the Baton Rouge location for parties!“

“A little pricey, but good food and portion sizes. The Grits and Grillade platter was filling and flavorful. Bathrooms are decorated with a rural, slapdash decor which was somewhat unsettling. Location of the restaurant is set back from the road in a strip mall so it can be slightly difficult to locate.“
