“First time here, my server Conor was exceptional, I have try diferent chargrilled oyster in diferent restaurant like chimes, Felix's other ones, and i ask if they have diferent flavors i wanna try something diferent and they make me something off the menú and they didn't disappoint they where amazing. “We used The Jambalaya Shoppe for our sorority Parents Weekend and absolutely will be having them cater again! Mrs. Fontenot, the owner, was extremely helpful throughout the booking/delivering process and even made sure I was fed when I just came to drop the check off. Everyone raved about their jambalaya and I was extremely appreciative of how friendly Mrs. Fontenot and her entire staff was. Could not recommend enough!!! (The pastalaya and jambalaya are to die for!)“

“April 24, 2026. It had been almost 7 years since I last had Ronnie's smoked boudin. I think about it almost weekly. We live up in GA now and can't get boudin up here. I called and asked if they ship. They said they do, and I knew it was time to order. I placed an order for 15 lbs of smoked boudin. The shipping was $118, the boudin $159. 100% worth it. She took my order, and the next day they sent me the shipping info. It came the following day. The boudin was shipped frozen, and in a styrofoam cooler, with some dry ice. Packed into a secure box. When I unpacked it, the boudin was still frozen solid. I let a pack defrost overnight and cooked it today for a late lunch. The house smelled heavenly while it was heating up. It tasted marvelous, and I look forward to eating a pack each month. Thank you for making it completely easy to get my fix.“

The Oysters were BURNT...all small FOUR of them...so crunchy a guest said the could have broken their teeth?!? I ordered the Shrimp PoBoy and only got a HALF! They said they would refund me, well DoorDash did...not sure why they did and not Jasmines. , waiting on an answer from them BURNT FOOD IS UNACCEPTABLE...there was no way they didn't know...really!!?? Especially if it can harm someone? What else was there was good, but it was disappointing it wasn't right, again! Oh, a good thing, the Shrimp and Corn soup had shrimp in it this time, just too creamy for my taste. Not used to cream in it. Another bad thing is Jasmines doesn't have an email to respond before posting a review. Enjoy the pics.“

“I have never actually eaten food that fulfills my soul. This place is definitely the definition of SOUL FOOD!!! The amazing people that cook these dinners are truly full genuine spirits and those spirits are felt in their cooking. I use my Louisiana hot sauce on EVERYTHING and with this food here I don't even use a dash! If I could give millions stars for service, atmosphere,and food I would!

“Being from Florida this was my first time experiencing the restaurant. It was recommended by friends and I must say it was a great experience. My family and I had a variety of dishes. I had the boudin egg roll which were delicious along with the Shrimp jambalaya.My wife had the chicken club and red beans and rice which are outstanding. My mother had the catfish and shrimp plate which is huge portions. The adult drinks are great with a huge selection. If I get the opportunity to visit I will definitely make a stop back. Love the atmosphere during football season although I’m not a Saints fan lol. But highly recommend giving this place a try.“

“My mother and I went to this place not knowing anything of it. Good thing we went, the water was so fun and nice, the food was delicious, and there was a good atmosphere. There wasn’t a lot of people, but it is new so maybe people don’t know about it. The restaurant is connected to the Origen hotel which is really convenient.“
