“From the woods to the grill within a week!! Day’s didn’t just smoke the sausage but they have to be the most efficient at processing a deer! We dropped a deer off on a Monday at 6am and it was ready to be picked up that Saturday. When I dropped it off the young man working made sure what I wanted was correct 3xs. I could tell he actually cared about his job and getting it right. Quick drop off and when I picked it up I got the same process. 6am pickup (I’m an early bird) Everything was separated and packaged so neat. Worker loaded it all up and I was gone within 10min. We used to just process it ourself but we wanted burritos and smoked sausage. Our scheduled just don’t leave the time for us to do it. Grilling sausage tonight at the deer camp within a week. “Great food! Been picking up food here for years. The pork jambalaya and pork roast in roux gravy are both fantastic. We also love the white beans and potato salad. This is the only place I’ll order potato salad or jambalaya from. Plenty of meat in the jambalaya. Food is consistently great - like home cooked and. We usually call order in a day or two ahead. It’s always ready on time, no matter how big or small our order is.“

The oysters, black and blue tips & wine were so wonderful we returned after business the next night to try more. Round 2 included the Feta Whipped Brussels, Creole French dip & Duck + Butter beans. “A lovely little restaurant serving authentic Cajun cuisine. While some of the food was good, unfortunately it did not sit well with our palate. Nonetheless, I felt this restaurant deserves a good review, considering the wonderful service, the owner helped us newcomers decide what we might like. Try for yourself!“

“We used The Jambalaya Shoppe for our sorority Parents Weekend and absolutely will be having them cater again! Mrs. Fontenot, the owner, was extremely helpful throughout the booking/delivering process and even made sure I was fed when I just came to drop the check off. Everyone raved about their jambalaya and I was extremely appreciative of how friendly Mrs. Fontenot and her entire staff was. Could not recommend enough!!! “April 24, 2026. It had been almost 7 years since I last had Ronnie's smoked boudin. I think about it almost weekly. We live up in GA now and can't get boudin up here. I called and asked if they ship. They said they do, and I knew it was time to order. I placed an order for 15 lbs of smoked boudin. The shipping was $118, the boudin $159. 100% worth it. She took my order, and the next day they sent me the shipping info. It came the following day. The boudin was shipped frozen, and in a styrofoam cooler, with some dry ice. Packed into a secure box. When I unpacked it, the boudin was still frozen solid. I let a pack defrost overnight and cooked it today for a late lunch. The house smelled heavenly while it was heating up. It tasted marvelous, and I look forward to eating a pack each month. Thank you for making it completely easy to get my fix.“

You will be greeted and they will go over the menu with you. And they will offer you a sample just to make sure you want the food.“

“So tonight I ordered again from Jasmines On the Bayou a Shrimp PoBoy and Seafood Platter. The Oysters were BURNT...all small FOUR of them...so crunchy a guest said the could have broken their teeth?!? I ordered the Shrimp PoBoy and only got a HALF! They said they would refund me, well DoorDash did...not sure why they did and not Jasmines. , waiting on an answer from them BURNT FOOD IS UNACCEPTABLE...there was no way they didn't know...really!!?? Especially if it can harm someone? What else was there was good, but it was disappointing it wasn't right, again! Oh, a good thing, the Shrimp and Corn soup had shrimp in it this time, just too creamy for my taste. Not used to cream in it. Another bad thing is Jasmines doesn't have an email to respond before posting a review. Enjoy the pics.“

“Being from Florida this was my first time experiencing the restaurant. It was recommended by friends and I must say it was a great experience. My family and I had a variety of dishes. I had the boudin egg roll which were delicious along with the Shrimp jambalaya.My wife had the chicken club and red beans and rice which are outstanding. My mother had the catfish and shrimp plate which is huge portions. The adult drinks are great with a huge selection. If I get the opportunity to visit I will definitely make a stop back. Love the atmosphere during football season although I’m not a Saints fan lol. But highly recommend giving this place a try.“

“First time eating here I think... I ordered a double cheeseburger meal. Burger was so big I couldn't eat but half! Fries were hot and fresh. But the ultimate win was mayo on top AND bottom bun..now even Burger King doesn't do that!!!! I'll definitely be back!“
