Doe's Eat Place Reviews
Everything was wonderful. The wait staff was exceptional. We never had a dirty plate on our table. They all had each others backs.
Mother and I come once a year to celebrate our birthdays together. Has been a smash hit every time. Mama loves the filet mignon and this time I tried the roast beef poboy. Yum yum
This was the most incredible steak I've tasted and I've been eating it since I was 3. I cannot wait to go back and I have plenty of leftovers! Jake was our server and he was excellent.

Doe's Eat Place is known for its great steaks that compete with higher-end restaurants, served in a casual, down-home setting. The Southern charm enhances the dining experience, with high-quality meat and steaks cooked perfectly every time. The menu also features pasta, seafood, and dessert biscuits, with large portions like the broiled shrimp pasta. Customers often enjoy the tamales and marinated salad, although some have found the tamales to be a bit dry occasionally. The staff is friendly and attentive, though service times can vary, especially when it comes to drinks, as some reviews mention long waits for wine. The restaurant has a lively atmosphere and is a staple in the Baton Rouge area. The smallest steak weighs 1.5 pounds, so diners should come hungry. Overall, Doe's Eat Place offers a delicious meal with friendly service, making it a popular spot for locals and visitors alike.
