“The food is really good here. We come in the morning we skipped lunchtime cause it’s really crazy but we come at dinner time and it’s very quiet and peaceful and enjoyable. The only thing that I wish they would do is to get the cappuccino maker fixed it’s broken at Elmwood and it’s broken in New Orleans on Saint Charles Avenue. Please get your cappuccino maker fixed because honestly guys they make the best cappuccino. I don’t know what it is, but the cappuccino is delicious when it’s working.“

I was not super impressed by the food - the morning bun was overly sweet. The peach bun did not have enough peach flavor. The dolce & banana was all sugar with very little banana flavor. The brown butter cookie was alright. The mustard and onion savory croissant had great flavors. Every item, however, was missing the freshly made crunch I was expecting from puff pastry on the edges - I’m not sure why.

There was a steady short line inside when I visited on a Saturday morning. Easy to find seats.“

“While I’ll aways recommend, tonight definitely was a damper on what used to hold a top reputation for years for us. We went for our 17th anniversary (just 2 people). And I cannot tell you how many times we kinda got lost in the system and the service was soooo slow! They comp a drink but to be honest- 2 hours for a meal for 2 people is just long. Chocolate dessert seemed to be shrinking in size as well. For a $200 meal for 2, I personally wouldn’t have wanted to repeat the night again. Steak was okay but chewy and my husband’s more expensive steak, lacked flavor. I love ya La Boca but tonight will probably make us wait a bit to return.“

“We wanted to try something new for dessert and found this place while driving down Severn. After reading over the menu option — there is a wide variety of sweet & savory items — we settled on a dark chocolate milk shake and crème brûlée crepe with strawberries. Absolutely amazing! We did not expect it to be as delicious as it was and now we can’t wait to come back for another sweet crepe. Definitely recommend giving this a try if you haven’t already.“

I had the pleasure of meeting her that day observing (as I waited my turn) how she managed working solo, appearing happy (because she was smiling) and acknowledging me after serving a customer. “I brought my son to the Metairie LA store today at approximately 7:30pm. This is the first time I had an awful experience. I could not even eat my food. I ordered a burger xtra lettuce xtra MOOYAH sauce grilled onions no pickles wheat bun. A family in front of me placed their to dine in and were given a number. A young lady fixed their food with gloves on her hands and brought it to the family and she takes the number from them with the SAME gloves on her hands and proceeds behind the counter to fix the next order. Sliding her gloved hands along the counter. She goes to the grill to work on the next order. She slides the patty off of the spatula on to the bun with the SAME gloved hands. She then puts the fries in the bag but a handful fell on the counter. She picks the fries up off the counter with the SAME gloved hands and puts them in the bag. Calls my name to tell me that my order is ready. I tell her that I do not want it please make my order over. I take it to go when I get home the order is completely wrong!!! I’m so hungry but upset!!! I’ll be calling them tomorrow.“

Next, the Entrees were more than enough portion wise my favorite being the Chipotle flavored crunchy peanut butter smash burger loaded with cheese & bacon.“
