This restaurant is near the University and was full of the students on Sunday morning breakfast.
We waited few minutes as the orders are required and pay at the desk.
The was okay but very small portions and all cold drinks are very high price.
The also added 15% gratuities in the bill plus asking additional tips.
This is not a romantic or quiet place. It was extremely crowded and noisy.

Satsuma Maple is a cozy neighborhood cafe in New Orleans that serves delicious breakfast and brunch options. Known for its inviting atmosphere and lovely staff, the cafe offers a great casual breakfast spot close to Tulane. The food is highly praised, with popular items including the breakfast sandwich on toast, avocado toast that features avocado, greens, sliced tomatoes, and topped with an egg, and the standout Kale Caesar salad made with Lacinato kale, delicious dressing, breadcrumbs from actual slices of bread, and bacon. The blueberry pancake is also a favorite, described as delicious and huge, making it perfect for a relaxed breakfast. Freshly squeezed orange juice is used to make their mimosas, and the cafe is a top recommendation for out-of-town guests. The drip coffee and iced lattes are also enjoyed by many. The black beans, which are house-made and slow cooked, are highly praised by bean lovers. Satsuma Maple can get busy, especially on weekends, but the staff is fast and the atmosphere remains casual and easy. It is important to note that there is a 12% charge for staff on all orders, clearly communicated by the cashier.
