These tortillas were classified as corn, but I can tell you, they were next level, as they were not gritty or grainy like regular corn tortillas.

Freshly cooked, which resulted in a world, wind of textures. Crispy, tender tortillas, gooey melted cheese, tender beef, fresh onions, and parsley.

The salsa Verde was excellent, perfectly seasoned mild fresh tasting.

The consumé was excellent wonderful flavor.

I ate at the picnic style tables out front.

Jarritos drink selections. The owner came out herself and asked if everything was OK, which it was. She was very personable and a hard worker.

“I always order the TexMex chicken enchiladas for take out since they don'thave fountain drinks. Portions are generous and the food is great. My only complaint is if you pay by card the card service they use wants your email address which they sell to other merchants.

“I went into Izzos on Burbank to pick up a large order for myself and coworkers. The people inside were pleasant and welcoming. I fixed all the drinks and brought them to my car, when I went to go back in to grab the food, one of the gentlemen working there was standing behind me at my car with my order! Besides the helpfulness, the entire order was all there and correct! We order from restaurants frequently and have an issue with correctness, so we really appreciate the order being fulfilled correctly!! I love Izzos, but the experience I had at the one on Burbank was fabulous. Thanks Izzos Burbank team! ?“

“We go every week. We love talking to the staff and the owner. Very friendly. The salsa is great! It doesn’t taste like most tomato tasting salsa in the area. The food is flavorful and enjoy the variety. I hope they expand the menu soon with more authentic Mexican cuisine including mole and nopales. I’ve seen some negative reviews but I hope you will give this place a try because they really are good!“

“I’m from California and my father moved us to Louisiana in 1977 and have been here ever since. We miss good Mexican food and for decades could not find anything authentic…it’s all Tex Mex. This little truck is a gem let me tell ya!! I order food every Saturday and bring it to my mom who loves it. The rolled chicken tacos (flautas) are legit and our fav but every dish we’ve gotten has been very good!! Just remember CASH ONLY!!! Give ‘em a chance, you wont be sorry!!“

“Great little hole in the wall place. The front of the store is a small Hispanic grocery store and the back is the restaurant. Everything was made fresh and it was large portions for the price. The price was amazing and cheap. Customer service was great. This isn’t Tex-Mex. This is authentic Mexican cuisine. Would definitely come here again next time I’m in town!“

“My family and I decided to try this place for a late lunch on Saturday. The decor was a bit dated but it was clean. Our server was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.Everyone enjoyed their food and had leftovers. I had my food and a margarita which was just right.We went a little out of our way but it was well worth the drive. We will be back and try more menu items.

I love how they have more than one option for dip when they bring out the complimentary chips and dips (most places only provide salsa with chips).Ordered the tacos de carne asada and had great flavor! It comes with a green sauce on the side, and it has a very good kick so be mindful. Would definitely come back again because their menu is huge and has a lot to offer! I also like how spacious the restaurant is and offers an outdoor patio for dining. Great service too!!“

“I've been eating at Marina's for 20 years now. at least once a week. try the grilled chicken breast. It's the best I've ever had. no one else can compare. I love the small quiet atmosphere where I can actually enjoy the company I am with. the family that owns the restaurant may not be mexican, but make some great Mexican dishes, proving you don't have to be Mexican to cook the food. The family is wonderful, friendly, and very hard workers! I highly recommend that you try Marina's!!!“

“Ahuuas Mexican Restaurant is a great family owned place. The food is very much like food we have eaten at really nice restaurants in Mexico, great flavor and presentation. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is fun. They also have a nice outdoor dining area and a separate cocktail bar for customers.
