My first experience here was fabulous! Ashley was our server, she was so attentive and inviting. Two members of our tribe are vegan and she made sure we knew what options the restaurant had to offer and was just overall very knowledgeable about the menu. We love Tio Javi's!!! The tortillas are excellent and that makes all the tortilla based dishes even better. They keep shellfish away from other ingredients; so my daughter who is allergic to shellfish has a wide variety of choices! Thanks SO SO SO much for that!!!We had soft tacos, quesadillas, & burritos. This is the best Mexican in Baton Rouge. They have the best salsa! It is a roasted salsa so less acidic, which is what I love about it. Also they have an awesome, creamy green salsa. The table side guac is great too. There's no question they have the best fajitas in Baton Rouge. The chicken is sliced thin and the flavor is just awesome.
