The service was fantastic and the food was delicious. I ordered the fish ceviche which I found was refreshing and really flavorful. Dined in on July 4th with my family and they all enjoyed their meal, including my 3 year old who had a plate of chicken quesadilla with rice. The only part of the dinner that I felt was not up to the mark was the dessert. We ordered flan and chocolate cake. Didn't taste the freshest.
It was our first time to Veracruz- we thought the food, the ambience and the service from our server Amory was excellent!

This is the cutest little restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Their food is freaking delicious. I highly recommend the cauliflower taco, you will not be disappointed! The staff is super friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. This whole combination makes its the perfect lunch spot, date spot, business meet up, etc. The price is right on the edge of being high but once you taste the food you know it's because of the quality of the food. Veracruz Restaurant is a hidden gem in Baton Rouge, offering an exceptional experience. The food is absolutely phenomenal, fresh, and full of flavor, using high-quality ingredients. It is not your usual Mexican restaurant, with unique variations and dishes you won't find elsewhere. Standout items include the tacos—such as pork belly, steak, and octopus—which are boasting with flavor, as well as the queso burger, tuna appetizer, ceviche, guacamole, and the phenomenal rice with white rice and corn.
The drinks are excellent, including spot-on spicy margaritas. The staff is friendly, attentive, fast, and provides wonderful service. The restaurant itself is beautiful, a well-designed space with a cool, vibrant vibe. The ambiance is modern, open with high ceilings, inviting, and exceptional. It is a quaint little gem with a great atmosphere. While the entrance and parking can be slightly challenging to find, it is well worth the adventure. This locally owned place is highly recommended for a five-star experience.
