Booked a party of 15, a week out of the party, several people couldn’t come for a funeral - called in to reduce seating and they make it clear they would charge 750 to cancel party or for each person not coming a charge no exceptions.. who are these people? In br and New Orleans we go to the best establishments and aren’t treated like this. Be warned - they started all wrong - welcome to br you won’t last like that

Luna Cocina offers a mix of amazing food and atmosphere, with service that can vary greatly. The food is a highlight, with dishes like steak tacos, steak quesadillas, chicken quesadillas, Pork Belly Tacos, and birria receiving high praise. The steak is described as juicy, tender, and full of flavor, and the margaritas are amazing, super fresh, and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is lovely, especially upstairs, contributing to an overall enjoyable dining experience.
However, service is inconsistent. Some guests report terrible service, including long waits for drinks like a mimosa, forgotten tables, and a lack of attention. One group noted a pink sticky substance on a chair that was never cleaned. In another instance, a large party sat outside in winter was freezing with only one space heater that kept turning off, and the server, Carlos, was described as all over the place, watching basketball instead of attending to the table. Chips and water refills were slow.
On the other hand, many guests had excellent service. Roxane is praised as the best server, fast and caring, and Hank is noted as the best buss boy. David is described as super sweet and accommodating, and another guest found Carlos friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. Overall, while the food and atmosphere are consistently excellent, the service can be either top notch or disappointing, leaving some guests undecided about returning.
