“one of my partner & i’s favorite local spots. we celebrated our 6 year anniversary there this past friday and our experience was incredible as always. started with appetizers: miso soup for me, spicy crab salad for him. then ordered(from left to right): the don tuan, salmon pesto, & happy feet roll. finished off dinner with the chocolate tsunami which is one of our favorite deserts ever!!

now for our request…we have a very special drink that’s only made here by their genius behind the bar, maddie, and as much as i’d love to gatekeep it, it is SO incredible that i hope others can try it out and push for it to become a permanent drink on the menu. it’s a CHANTILLY CAKE MARTINI ??? & yes it is as incredible as it sounds. tsunami please add this to the permanent menu so it can continue to be our special drink we get each time we visit!“

“We planned to bring 6 years old daughter for her birthday dinner at kasai steakhouse with her family , the atmosphere it’s classy decorative place to sit in enjoyable surroundings , the food were delicious and well served by what we ordered for dinner, I really like to come back for a second visit to this lovely place“

“First time. Never heard of or would have ever found this place without Google. I searched sushi near my job and this came up.The door says take out only. Its a small old non fancy place that obviously focuses on the food only and the gentleman was very kind just making the sushi himself behind a regular wood counter like he was at home, so I had a feeling it was going to be good. It was. I went simple with the Calif roll and Shrimp tempura roll only because the website does not say what is in the others. He showed me how to find that online.I also had the eggplant/shrimp w/ miso. It really was what I would imagine eating at a friends home in Japan would be by a mom who's been making sushi all her life.I look forward to trying more rolls in the future.“

“Amazing food and service here! Expansive menu and even a specials menu. The hotto roll was fantastic, the chefs rolls had a very thick fry on it, a little too much for me. Complimentary miso soup. Chicken katsu was great as well, and the fried cheesecake was really tasty!!“

“Food was very good, lots of vegetarian dishes, they’re willing to customize anything. Their option for sushi rolls with soy paper instead of seaweed was great. We were very happy with everything. Prices were reasonable.

Small place, family run, seems mostly oriented to carry out so not a lot on the ambiance but they do have some tables inside. It was not necessarily that fast but we were not in an hurry and we asked them to customize almost everything we ordered.

Vegetarian options: There are a number of vegetarian options and they were willing to customize anything so you can adjust what’s on the menu.“
