The bar drinks were done very well, the quality of the food selections were good and tasted great, and our server was excellent (my fault for not remembering his name). The dynamic was duo, like Goku and Vegeta before Namic exploded and they had to hate each other. All in all, stellar people, good food, definitely come here.“

“We went to Mel’s on Johnston St. this past Saturday. It was busier than usual but there was a visiting football team and their supporters in town. The crowd was loud, but everyone seemed happy. The food came out hot and was very fast! The food and the service was excellent! We love Mel’s and had another great experience!“

“Having moved from Paris to Lafayette, I lived in Lafayette for three years. Now I live in New Orleans, and I swear, I can’t find a Po’Boy here that’s even close to as good as the ones at Chris’. I went to Chris' for three years, happy as could be, and I’d always order the catfish Po’Boy and a cup of gumbo. The whole crew was so dang nice, and I really loved getting to know y’all.
