“I went there for the first time last Friday, and I got a Reese's king cake and a few other items. I froze the king cake and then thawed it Saturday night for church the next morning. It was a hit! “I took my kids and friend there on yesterday to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. After receiving our food, the waitress asked if everything was ok. I informed her that my shrimp was over cooked and was very hard to chew. She said she would inform the manager….we waited 8 minutes and no manager came. We watched him walk back and forth without ever acknowledging me. When the waitress passed back I asked her what did he say, she said oh, he said that how they cook it. Finally after 5 minutes or so he came, saw and said him self that my shrimp was overcooked and that he’ll be back. I waited and waited he never came back. I had the shrimp poboy that had a total of 5 and a half shrimp on it. It was like they took pieces of crust and stuck it between bread. My friend got up and stopped him to ask what’s going on because he never came back. He told her that I couldn’t be accommodated because I ate some it. They were all very unprofessional. I’ll never go back there. That definitely not how you handle business and the customer.“
“It's a low key pool hall with different size tables, light kitchen food and a bar. I love this place and have been going here since 2002. Know the owners well and lots of people here. One thing that has been upsetting me is that people keep stealing my stuff here recently. An Aramith Pro Cup Cue Ball, a Nine-ball Accu-Racks rack and about 7 pieces of Predator chalk. I am upset about this and want to make it apparent to watch your stuff like a hawk. It will get snatched right under from your noise. Not having good safety thoughts for my items here.“

Everything was seasoned well and prepared with love. Plenty of gravy, I was able to cover my rice with it. No plain rice kernels we’re had. Loved it! I hate it when places give white rice with gravy and there’s not enough to go around. The customer service was great as well. They know their regulars and make sure everyone enjoyed their meals. The mix tasted really good and the tequila was quality...we didn't need extra shots at all....infact it, about two and a half cups she was giving all manner of indignant speeches against various injustices. I don't drink alot but the mix tastes pretty good and with it being so hot, before I knew it, I was a little indignant myself! ??For an early friday night, it did not look very busy. Two 30 something guys were having a drink on the back porch but that was about it...seemed like a chill place....I imagine they sell alot of drive thru frozen drinks...and Thats fine because they are good at making them. Not a huge amount of lighting in the parking lot...had to really look for it at night, having never been there...but it looks like a great friendly place for good natured every day people to have a drink. Person at the window was friendly.Definitely will order again when we come back to Lafayette..“

Grill taste, buttered toasted buns, smallest is 1/4 lb, just right for a small burger with not a huge bun. Fries were perfectly fried and seasoned.Problem with smell…of restaurant, musky, old grease, grim. Vents are very dirty near ceiling, bricks on wall were dark and appeared dirty near floor. The kitchen is open so public can watch. I’m not a fan. Seems like all the smell from kitchen flows into dining area. A good cleaning will make this a 5 star review.“
“We've eaten here before and love everything about it. When we go, we have seen people we know and they love it too. We like to eat LOCAL as much as possible. The food is usually AWESOME at these places. I think they put a little extra love and care in what they do. They still practice Customer Service, imagine that. Mr. Bailey also serves a Thanksgiving meal to the needy and has been doing this for decades, even now with things so expensive. Some said they were a little expensive, but I see happy employees, good food and great service and they also give back to the community. We like Christian people who do Christian things like he does, and then keeps on doing it, year after year. Not many places do that. One restaurant in Texas serves their Police, Fire Fighters EMT'S, Veterans and Service men and women, and Teachers, a meal for 1/2 price, twice a year. That is pretty awesome. Guess where these people take their families out to eat? As they should. I love a loving world.“

“This time I had the cheeseburger potato. I have been eating at the Potato Place for over 12 years. I used to work at the iPhone shop a few doors down and it was a great spot to get a good lunch. The potatoes are always enormous, and the toppings are always More than enough. So the cheeseburger potato I get it with extra liquid cheese, extra tomatoes, and an extra side of jalapeños.They also give you packets of Tony’s if you want to spice it up a little bit. I ate 3/4 of it which is quite a lot and it was just as delicious as it was 10 years ago. I’m so thankful for the consistency that they have carried over these years. Some people are not happy but most people are and I’ll be wanting to tell you my 12 years of experience here I have only had one potato out of possibly 100 or more I wasn’t 100% satisfied with.They always show you your potato before you leave to make sure it’s exactly what you order and they do their best to customize it just the way you want. Thank you Eric for keeping it simple and delicious and I pray that your business continues to thrive. I knew all the owners before you hopefully I’ll get to come in and meet you one day. Also, they have some new things on the menu.I look forward to trying, but for me, the cheeseburger potato, the steak fajita potato, Barbecue potato with that delicious sweet barbecue sauce, and of course, broccoli and cheese potato.
