“I have always had good hamburgers from this place. Started back in 1967 as a customer. Their consistency of their burgers as the ones I use to get when I started coming here. “What a great find in Lafayette! I'm literally writing this review while still sitting in the the restaurant because I was so impressed. I've been roadtripping across the country, trying restaurants along the way, and wouldn't have expected one of the best to be in a strip mall. I had the Boudini (such a great layering of flavors, although I did want more of kimchi just because it was so good–almost wanted to ask if they sold it go) with a side of Deviled Duck Eggs (the single blueberry was such a nice touch–again, the layering of flavors was impressive). However, looking at what everyone else around me ordered, I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. The atmosphere was great: the music was on point, the stained glass was beautiful, and the coffee mugs are basically little art pieces. The service was outstanding: I've been a waitress for years and it was clear that they run a tight ship around here. I love that all of the ingredients are local and the prices are reasonable for what you get. I wouldn't hesitate to return.“

“I've been here a few times, but I had the seafood Mac Bowl this time, and it is incredible. It is so delicious and you can eat off it more than once. I absolutely love the flavored lemonades. The atmosphere is very casual, but the staff still provides table service. We also always order dessert to go because they always have something we want to try. Delicious food and really nice staff.“
“I've spent many many late nights here shutting them down. From pool leagues , foosball tournaments, or the chili and chips you don't want to finish bc it's so good. BUT you have to try the double stacked, cheese, bacon, and to top it off, make it "x-tra sloppy" (2 large scoops of their amazing homemade chili on top of the patties) ?..…you might have to eat this ? amazing super burger with a fork and knife lol, and it's worth it. IMO...I've tried many different burger joints throughout Lafayette, and I consider Max's to be MY #1 burger and pool joint. There's just something about the flavour of them that just make them #1, to me, IMO. There's other things on the menu besides burgers, but not too much. Go swing by there and shoot some pool while sucking down a few beers. Ask for Coy behind the bar. He's the coolest dude and worked there forever , and knows how to run that grill I tell ya. Tip: get Coy to grill your burger. He is the burger master there.“
“The food here was great!!!!! We had boudin balls, Sean's burger chili cheese, hot dog, junior burger and they were all really good. The boudin balls were off the chain!!! Don't forget you need to end your visit by getting a milkshake. That's where it's at.“
“I went by this morning and Samara helped me out. She was so nice. I bought a variety of sweets for my son's party, such as fudge squares, petit fours, sugar cookies and the Gingerbread cookies come in packs of two called Twins. The service is excellent, they have a huge selection and the hamburgers smelled so good. Great localy company!“
“These poboys are not your simple meat and cheese type. Knowing that going in it was very good with roch flavors. Their daiquiris are really good. Most poboys around might have beer but here they have a cocktail bar. Nice area downtown to walk around when weather is nice. Service was great. Fries were addictive. We ordered whole poboys but walked away with the other half to take home and relive the epirience again later or share with family.Parking: There are a few paid parking lots and spots in the area during the day. We didn't have trouble finding parking near.“

“No frills restaurant with a few tables. Husband wanted a po'boy while we were in Louisiana. We randomly picked this one off the map and we weren't disappointed. A 12" crusty roll filled with juicy fried shrimp (sorry, too hungry to snap a picture). They knew we were splitting it and brought it to the tablr already cut and in two baskets. We also split an order of fries - more than enough for two to split.“

“I took my kids and friend there on yesterday to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. After receiving our food, the waitress asked if everything was ok. I informed her that my shrimp was over cooked and was very hard to chew. She said she would inform the manager….we waited 8 minutes and no manager came. We watched him walk back and forth without ever acknowledging me. When the waitress passed back I asked her what did he say, she said oh, he said that how they cook it. Finally after 5 minutes or so he came, saw and said him self that my shrimp was overcooked and that he’ll be back. I waited and waited he never came back. I had the shrimp poboy that had a total of 5 and a half shrimp on it. It was like they took pieces of crust and stuck it between bread. My friend got up and stopped him to ask what’s going on because he never came back. He told her that I couldn’t be accommodated because I ate some it. They were all very unprofessional. I’ll never go back there. That definitely not how you handle business and the customer.“

“Great people to work with. I work overnight mostly on weekends so if you know whataburger like I do, it's packed, full and full of entertainment. Plus it's on the Northside of Lafayette and the Northside is the best side. Sometimes the customers can be challenging and there's other guest that are very understanding. all in all, I love this job and the people I work with. I love the excitement and the rush that comes along. but please drunk folks that decide to get in my drive thru, stop Changing ur orders as soon as yu get to my window. and if I can't hear yu ordering on speaker maybe cut ur car off or get the person sitting in the driver seat to order for yu. no judgements but dam. “It had been at least 40 years since I ate here! Loved it in the late 1970 & 1980’s!! Today, The burger was on point! Grill taste, buttered toasted buns, smallest is 1/4 lb, just right for a small burger with not a huge bun. Fries were perfectly fried and seasoned.Problem with smell…of restaurant, musky, old grease, grim. Vents are very dirty near ceiling, bricks on wall were dark and appeared dirty near floor. The kitchen is open so public can watch. I’m not a fan. Seems like all the smell from kitchen flows into dining area. A good cleaning will make this a 5 star review.“
“Love Applebee’s. Server Rochelle B is the best server they have hired in years. Friendly great service and always ask questions about how you would like your food or anything you order. Been going there for years and almost stopped because of poor service but went one last time and Rochelle was the server. Been back twice since then and will go again!“

“The only thing small is the name. The sliders are incredible. And filling! Their waffle fries are seasoned perfectly. Dipped in the queso, they're heaven in your mouth. “My wife and I went for brunch. It was amazing hands down best meal I have ever had in the city of Lafayette. Our son is a Exective chef in New Orleans so after eat the quality of food he cooks, it is hard to fined a restaurant in this area with that quality of food. Well now I can say I finally found a restaurant. Park Bistro. Next time he is in town I will definitely take him to eat there.“
