“This was our first visit to Twin Peaks, and my husband and I were quite impressed. All of the food is very reasonably priced, which is becoming a rarity around here lately. My husband got the billionaire bacon burger, and I got the lobster mac and cheese. The food was delicious. At first sight, the portion of my dish seemed a bit on the small side. But it was actually quite filling and I was only able to finish half of it. My husband quite enjoyed his burger as well. The fries were perfectly crispy and tasty. The service was great as well. Our waitress was super friendly, and she was also training a couple of other waitresses and seemed to be doing a pretty good job with that too. She also ensured her manager visited with us as first time guests. The manager was very friendly, and informed us of the car meet ups and shows that were upcoming. We definitely will be back!”

Plus it's on the Northside of Lafayette and the Northside is the best side. Sometimes the customers can be challenging and there's other guest that are very understanding. all in all, I love this job and the people I work with. I love the excitement and the rush that comes along. but please drunk folks that decide to get in my drive thru, stop Changing ur orders as soon as yu get to my window. and if I can't hear yu ordering on speaker maybe cut ur car off or get the person sitting in the driver seat to order for yu. no judgements but dam. They start off by serving you a warm towelette to wash up before taking your order. I started with a miso soup and tuna tataki. The menu is extensive, so it took me a bit to decide on a main course. The chef happily gave suggestions. I've never had a "riceless" roll before, but it was amazing and very filling without the over full feeling from too much rice. I finished with a perfectly cut orange or a light dessert. And lastly, another warm towelette to clean up before taking the check. The prices are a bit higher than "average sushi", however, the ingredients were all very fresh looking and tasting along with being beautifully plated, well worth the price for me. I will return here in the future.”

Finally, I found Blanchards and it hit all of the right spots. Brisket, sausage, great sauces, and probably one of the best takes on the Ole Style meat and potato meals I have experienced in a long time - Blanchard's Poutine Dream. A mound of French fries smotherd in dark rich gravy, chopped brisket, and cheese crumbles.The staff is phenomenal - I, admittedly, have a bit of a crush on the waitress behind the counter - but then it could be because she is my gateway to some of the best BBQ in Lafayette. My only critique is that they close so early and adding options like cherry peppers, pickles, and onions would be nice.Blanchard's is not just great, it's consistently great.”

Aside from my wife's Haitian cooking which is a bit different from the Louisiana interpretation.The Creole Lunch is very unassuming I'm appearance, and easy to miss if you are not looking. Nestled on the side of the road, I noticed the sign and the grassy parking lot. The inside is literally the inside of a house, giving it welcoming appeal. The place is a local, family-owned establishment and it shows in the food and hospitality.Now the matter of the food. It is bleeping epic! Everything I ate, and I ate half my weight in food, was delicious! The Jambalaya was spicy, savory, and teeming with flavor. As was the pork with dirty rice and collard greens. The food was so good, I ordered the Catfish Po Boy as a second entree and ate the whole damn thing. Needless to say it was life-changing. I left here full and sleepy. A meal I will remember for the rest of my life.Parking: A huge grassy lot that has plenty of spaces.Kid-friendliness: Lots of families, the locals of course, in here all of the time.”

Lots of toppings, and the chicken was very good quality. The egg rolls tasted homemade and fresh. Took a star off for service because they were understaffed at dinner so there was only one server. She did a great job tho despite being alone. I was very happy with the condiments provided at the table - everything from hot chili flakes to spicy mustard. Would return.”

As an ice cream connoisseur, I can vouch for the fact that Andy's Frozen Custard is AWESOME! I've tried and loved the strawberry shortcake concrete, the basic vanilla cup, and root beer floats but I keep coming back for the butter pecan concrete. ... SO GOOD. It's made to perfection! There's drive thru and walk-up (no lobby) service at Andy's and it's fast and friendly. Andy's custard is the perfect choice for dessert any day!”

“There are not many options for Caribbean and Jamaican food in Lafayette. The jerk shop still gives excellent quality food despite the lack of competition. Every time I have gone there, they have been constantly good. The jerk sauce has a great mixture sweet and flavorful without being dominated by spice. You can even buy their sauce at local vendors. We always keep some in the house. This was my first time trying there, Beef Patty. The Patty was flaky and buttery at the same time, and the beef had good flavor.”

“Very homey and hole-in-the-wall spot. Often these have the best food and this was no exception - I think this place has the best pho in Lafayette. The broth was so savory and piping hot. Lots of toppings, and the chicken was very good quality. The egg rolls tasted homemade and fresh. Took a star off for service because they were understaffed at dinner so there was only one server. She did a great job tho despite being alone. I was very happy with the condiments provided at the table - everything from hot chili flakes to spicy mustard. Would return.”

I can honestly say that I have never witnessed an employee having a bad day and taking it out on the customers at this location.I have only dined in once, but during that time, the experience was great, and the facility was clean. We even had an employee stop by the table and make sure that we were good. As we were looking at the menu I couldn’t help but to watch the young lady in the black shirt. The way that she was taking orders for the front counter and drive-through at the same time and being able to Multitask very well. We literally stood back and watch her fix 6 different orders back to back and The way that she upsell on every order was amazing. She was very pleasant, sweet and very nice. That’s what you call speed of service and hospitality. My order was over $80 and it was well worth it everything was fresh and hot. She made sure that we did not want for anything. “Flavor City I ordered through DoorDash it I will def be back for an in person visit. Packed with flavour and actually hearty for curry. Meaning, the actual curry was hearty. The first dish was the Hot and Sour Soup. Full of diced/minced veggies. More of a broth style consistency with the fluid of the soup. So good! I also saw curry in the menu and had to give it a try. I chose the Coconut Shrimp Curry. Good portion of shrimp in my opinion. Usually places give you 3 or four it seems. The curry has is cooked in a coconut sauce with curry leaves and cilantro. More dense curry and the best I have had so far. Will be back and would give 7 stars if they were there”
