Lack luster gumbo: Arrived just after opening, ordered chicken and sausage gumbo with extra rice. Gumbo arrived and was luke warm. Had a overpowering taste of roux which really made the meal unworthwhile. I've eaten at Chris's a number of times before and not had this issue so there is the unknown of why it was soo bad this time. I will think twice before visiting again.
Been here more times than i can count over the last 10 years. Phenomenal every time. I love the Chris's special poboy, and their gumbo holds a special place in my heart (seafood and chicken and sausage are both great).
