Dumpling Hour Reviews
Just a wonderful experience. My wife and I have been around 6 times and we still get something new every time and have yet to be disappointed. The menues are straight forward and easy to order off of and the food comes fast and hot. Please understand that this is a full selection restaurant. They have way more than just dumplings. They have all your classic American Chinese food also. General tso's, orange chicken, friend rice, lomen noodles, sweet and sour. And so much more....read full review

Dumpling Hour is a new restaurant in Lafayette that has received high praise for its service and food. The menu features dishes that strongly remind customers of Chopsticks, a previous establishment. Popular dishes include Long Bao pork dumplings, described as excellent, simple, and fresh, as well as Chef Su's spicy beef with marvelous flavors. The shredding chicken with garlic sauce and crackling chicken with szechuan peppercorns are also highly recommended. The spicy beef dish is noted for its unique combination of spiciness and refreshment. The restaurant also offers chili wantons and pan-fried beef buns. The soup dumplings are a must-try, with customers easily ordering three servings. The staff was very helpful with all the options, and eating family style was suggested as the best way to enjoy the meal, especially for larger groups. The place was so tasty that one customer joked about wanting to take the chefs home. The restaurant offers plenty of parking and has received positive comments about the service, which is friendly and kind. The kids' menu includes chicken pan-fried dumplings, and the string beans are a favorite among adults. The Boba Tea is highly praised and considered one of the best. Overall, Dumpling Hour is a great addition to the local dining scene, and customers are already planning their return visits.
