“I don't hand out 5-star ratings very easily because 5-stars suggests not Is the place great - but consistently great. After moving to Louisiana from Arizona a couple of years ago, I was actually quite surprised to find that good BBQ is a difficult find out here. Finally, I found Blanchards and it hit all of the right spots. Brisket, sausage, great sauces, and probably one of the best takes on the Ole Style meat and potato meals I have experienced in a long time - Blanchard's Poutine Dream. A mound of French fries smotherd in dark rich gravy, chopped brisket, and cheese crumbles.The staff is phenomenal - I, admittedly, have a bit of a crush on the waitress behind the counter - but then it could be because she is my gateway to some of the best BBQ in Lafayette. My only critique is that they close so early and adding options like cherry peppers, pickles, and onions would be nice.Blanchard's is not just great, it's consistently great.“
“Went in for the first time today to try the Reuben. By far the best sandwich I've ever had. Told them it was my first time and I was a college student and not only did they give me a discount but a free cookie as well. Found my new favorite lunch spot for sure!“

“Childhood in Lafayette and always went to Verons for the stuffed pork Chops. Panicked when we needed to stop on Sunday to bring some to brother for birthday. Childhood friend said to try Tooks and it was awesome. Such sweet and helpful staff and came back the the next weekend going home to bring stuff home.“
“If you need to Grab gas, then this is the place to Geaux. This is a gas station that is a chain all over Southern Louisiana, and they actually offer some barbecue meats and what not and it's not bad. By gas station standards it's actually pretty good. There's a reason why they're popular enough to see their products get brought into Texas, which we often do.“
“Had a casual Friday lunch. I chose the brisket cheesesteak and my wife and I sampled the three meat plate. We had brussel sprouts, potatoes, and tomato bacon salad. There wasn’t a bad item on the plate. Brisket was star, esp on the cheesesteak. The chicken was a close second, not exactly sure how they did this, because chicken is often chicken. The sprouts appeared to be pan fried with bacon, and then maybe charred, really great. The potatoes had the home style flavor, extremely good. The tomato-bacon salad was great and I mean kept you wanting more. Beverages I had the old fashioned and it was delicious. The service was great, not hovering, but very attentive. All of this for under $50. I’d highly recommend this, not your typical restaurant atmosphere either, which was awesome!!!“
“The experience we had at Texas Roadhouse today was probably the best I have ever had. The food was amazing, but the main part I am writing about was our server. We were served by Amber Edwards and she was the kindest most pure soul. She did not forget a thing we asked, she was very quick, and she did everything with kindness. She was a rockstar!!!!“

“So I'm not sure what the change is, but there has been a change. I went here a couple of years ago and didn't like the customer service nor the food so much. But NOW, the customer service is phenomenal and the the food even better! I had Salmon and my mom had Steak! Both were absolutely wonderful. Savory!!! Did not want to take the taste out of my mouth! The Mac and Cheese...Oh my goodness! ? So if you're looking for Great all around, this is the place to go.5 ? ? ? ? ? ? ♥️“
“Went to First Hot Pot for my first Hot Pot experience. Walking in, the atmosphere was a really cool dining experience. The server Myan was super helpful and very informative. The food was also very good. Would definitely recommend and will be returning! 10/10“
