I picked up an order here as a Waitr driver and knew that I'd have to come back myself to try it out- and I'm glad I did. This spot is a gem even within Lafayette. Highly recommend!“

“These are probably the best street tacos in town. I recommend the steak tacos that come finely chopped. The folks here receive you with a smile and make you feel at home. The owner here is very laid back and will often strike up a conversation with the customers. You can order food inside or from the taco truck.“

“I’m moving far away from this city and will probably never return, but yet I feel inclined to leave a review of this place because it’s THAT good. This will be the one place I will always miss, as it is the best food I had in Lafayette or anywhere else I ate at in my 2 years of living in LA (beats any Cajun, hamburgers Mexican, Italian, etc that I had here).

“Tried this spot for the first time and it was delicious and hot. Pasta was creamy just like I like it, potato salad was good too. Didn’t have to wait very long either, customer service was cool too, sometimes you try a food truck and the staff are rude but I did not get that experience here. She talked me through the menu and smiled while she talked to me. Will be back soon“

“We enjoyed our lunch. The food was tasty and the service was fast considering the number of people in at the time. It is in a strip mall and the parking is ample.

We had the crab caked and they were tasty. Maybe ask for a small side of remoulade sauce there was a drizzle on the top, but we would have loved to have more.

I had the shrimp and grits. If you love the version were Worcestershire sauce plays a staring roll in the sauce, you will be disappointed. Their version is very cheesy grits with broiled shrimp on the side of the plate. It was flavorful and I enjoyed it.

My husband had the catfish and shrimp platter. If you love lots of Cajun spice sprinkled on after cooking, you will like this, if not maybe ask for them to back off of it for your plate.“
