“I’ve been a Taco Bell die hard ever since my mom ate Taco Bell when I was in her womb. I was literally born with Taco Bell addiction. This is the only place I found to be consistently better with ingredients and portions across-the-board when compared to price. Roughly half the time I eat anywhere else I usually wind up leaving thinking “man, I should’ve just got Taco Bell because I’d be the same level of full for way less money”. Out of the 10 times or so that I’ve eaten here, I’ve never once left with that feeling. Bravo El Pollo Loco, bravo.“

“yallllllll!!! the best AUTHENTIC Mexican food in Lafayette!!!! and CHEAP!! my boyfriend and I loved every bit of it. the service was great and friendly! they checked on us often. my boyfriend got the tilapia , huge and he said it was the best one he’s had in the state of louisiana. i got a tamale (HUGE) and a beef taco, so amazing.. their salsa was so unique, yet now my favorite. we got two margarita flights, 2 coronas, 2 modelos, and all that food for only $89. in this economy?? that at el paso would’ve been $150!!! the margs were amazing as well! 10/10!!! will be back!!“

The ONLY issue is that sometimes the sodas seem as if they've gone bad (little specks of something floating in them). However, employees are super nice about exchanging them! 10/10 Always try here again!“

“The food is good. My only ding is that they don't have authentic agua frescas. The charro beans are some of the best I've eaten. I would definitely recommend. Real Horchata, Jamaica, or fruit agua fresca would round the meal out though.“

“We had a fantastic experience at La Pagua! I tried the Taco de lengua and a Pork pupusa, and both were absolutely incredible. The flavors were authentic and fresh—just what I was hoping for. My husband had the pork tacos, and he couldn’t stop raving about how delicious they were. We also ordered the house margaritas. The chips and salsa were a great start to the meal, really fresh and full of flavor.

What truly made the experience even better was our server. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our meal. The service was top-notch, which can sometimes be just as important as the food itself! La Pagua really delivered on all fronts, and we can’t wait to come back for another visit!“

“They only speak Spanish here, and the menu is limited, but the folks who run it are friendly and the food is muy sabroso. At $20 for two meals with bottled soda, the prices are also reasonable. As with most Mexican restaurants, they don't much cater to vegetarians, but it looks like there's a meat-free nachos and a salad of some sort. The hours weren't posted (it looks like they just started up) but they seem to be open for lunch and dinner daily. I believe the family have been operating a popular food truck, not sure whether this is in addition to or instead of.“

It's on the pricier side but you get what you pay for - I ordered a barbacoa taco and there was hardly any fat and it was all lean meat, which is not usually the case at the cheapo taco stands. The ladies working the counter/cooking are really sweet. Idk how I'd have fared if I didn't know Spanish. The baleadas are amazing - thick flour tortillas and made by hand. Lots of filling. I was the only one in the restaurant and because my daughter is very busy doesn't communicate well. I don't bring her in a lot of places But because it was empty I thought It would be ok..
Everyone Was nice and I let the front desk Workers know that she doesn't sit still very much. And then I would put her in the corner where she wouldn't bother anyone...
Someone They're with the ability to Control the noise (radio) I can only assume had some kind of knowledge of children that are not "normal"..
Someone turned the radio down and My daughter seemed to settle a bit more..
