“After seeing a recommendation on FB about their salads, I had to try it! I asked a lot of questions when ordering and the lady helping answered all questions and gave me recommendations. I went through drive through so didn't dine in and had to wait until I got home to try this salad.. and OMG. It was delicious!! So fresh and the chicken was so good! I got the chicken, and added caramelized onions and cilantro.. it was so good, I didn't even use salad dressing.. the avacado on the salad was so good too!“

“Our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area! The food never disappoints! They have the best chips and salsa, and the chori-queso is sooooo good. We always get the pollo loco and fajita chicken quesadilla as our meals. Definitely try this place out!“

“By farrrrr the best Mexican cuisine I’ve had in Lafayette yet! First off, chips are served with two sauces; one salsa and not sure if the other was queso but it sort of had an avocado taste to it. I got the taco plate with barbacoa, asada & al pastor. Everything came out very quickly. I don’t like the fancy, popular Mexican restaurants & I have been trying to find an authentic location for the longest but I can assure you this will be my permanent go to spot. Margaritas are big and strong just how I like it and they also but real fruit in them! Definitely a 1000/10! Will be back during happy hour 3-6pm for 2x1 drinks!“

“I’m moving far away from this city and will probably never return, but yet I feel inclined to leave a review of this place because it’s THAT good. This will be the one place I will always miss, as it is the best food I had in Lafayette or anywhere else I ate at in my 2 years of living in LA (beats any Cajun, hamburgers Mexican, Italian, etc that I had here).
The quality is a 10/10, and their green sauce is AMAZING.“

“These are probably the best street tacos in town. I recommend the steak tacos that come finely chopped. The folks here receive you with a smile and make you feel at home. The owner here is very laid back and will often strike up a conversation with the customers. You can order food inside or from the taco truck.“

“I recently visited the Izzo’s Illegal Burrito on Johnson Street and was assisted by Kashawn, who delivered exceptional service. As a former manager at Izzo’s, I understand the importance of professionalism, portion control, and customer care—and Kashawn excelled in all areas. He was polite, professional, and efficient, demonstrating the kind of leadership potential any business would value.
Although there was about a five-minute wait to reach the counter, I know this is common in a fast-casual setting, and Kashawn made up for it with prompt service once I ordered. His attention to portion control was spot-on, and he handled everything with skill and confidence. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and impressed by his performance.“

“The service was great. The food came out fairly quick and was delicious. I had the papusas, one with pork and cheese and one with bean and cheese, comes with coleslaw and ranchero sauce, it was the best thing I've had at any mexican restaurant. I swear someone's Mexican grandma is back there cooking. Highly recommend.“

“My wife and I went during the week after the lunch rush, and it was fantastic! I have only ever gone during the busier dinner rushes, and they are absolute champions of service at those times, but it was so nice to enjoy during the quieter time as well (by no means was the place empty). It was an opportunity to see the artistry and architecture styles on the walls of a landmark restaurant that I've been to since a child( now 45). The service was quick and courteous. The food tastes like the best first date you have ever had.“

“Just enjoyed a great time at Chuys in Lafayette, Indiana today!! Mike was our server and was so kind towards our kids and helpful and respectful with our big table. He went above and beyond!! The food was delicious, place was clean, and the staff were all friendly. Chuys had great options for all and flavor/spice for the willing. We’ve always been a fan, but they raised the bar today. No digo que la comida sea mala , pero en especial las baleadas te dan una tortillota exagerada de grande y nada de lo que pides y eso que te cobran un ojo de la cara . Sean más honestos por favor, por lo menos un huevo a cada baleada y por lo menos sentir el sabor del queso y no digamos los frijoles . Es un asalto sin necesidad de pistola . “I have a very busy 4 year old adhd/autistic daughter And had been travelling for hours.
I was the only one in the restaurant and because my daughter is very busy doesn't communicate well. I don't bring her in a lot of places But because it was empty I thought It would be ok..
Everyone Was nice and I let the front desk Workers know that she doesn't sit still very much. And then I would put her in the corner where she wouldn't bother anyone...
Someone They're with the ability to Control the noise (radio) I can only assume had some kind of knowledge of children that are not "normal"..
Someone turned the radio down and My daughter seemed to settle a bit more..

“june 20 2025. so we went to eat there and we had to put our name on the waiting list and wait outside for a text are phone call. We get there at 545 and 40 mintues passes by and my husband goes check and while in the place another couple comes in that came way after we got there and they got seated so my husband pointed to his name on the list an the man did nothing so my husband came outside and said to me we are leaving. we were disrespected. others were getting there phone calls are texts and we never got one at all. We been going there since they were open and would go every weekend and during the week and would tell people how good the food wad but to be overlooked and call everyone but never us. as i am writing this it has been 3 hours an still nothing. very disappointed.“
