Childhood in Lafayette and always went to Verons for the stuffed pork Chops. Panicked when we needed to stop on Sunday to bring some to brother for birthday. Childhood friend said to try Tooks and it was awesome. Such sweet and helpful staff and came back the the next weekend going home to bring stuff home.
Heard about Took's but had never been there. We were in the area running errands and decided to stop. People were very nice and helpful, we bought two different kinds of stuffed chicken breast. Tonight we cooked the jambalaya stuffed breast. They were very good, not overly spiced, just enough seasoning. Will definitely go back for other items.

Got four Sunday plate lunches. All come with rice dressing and two sides. The ribs and brisket were exceptionally good. Also tried the pulled pork and pork steak - very tasty. Good value for the price.
