One of my favorite places to eat
The food and service is outstanding!
We went last night for our anniversary of 5 years and had a wonderful time! Our waiter Brian (hope I spelled it correctly) was top notch! Thank you for making it special!💙

iMonelli Restaurant | Italian is a jewel in Lafayette, offering gourmet Italian with a Cajun flair. The atmosphere is warm, romantic, and elegant, with low lights and candles, perfect for a special evening. The food is absolutely phenomenal, always fresh and flavorful. Unique dishes and flavors blend Cajun and Italian cuisine. Specific meals mentioned include the stuffed rainbow trout, Oyster Rockefeller Soup, Duck and Andoille Gumbo, Oyster Spaghetti, Seafood Stuffed Tortelloni, Veal Ossobuco, and Seafood Crepes appetizer. The Halibut or Trout with lump crab meat on top is a favorite, with the crab simply sautéed in butter with light seasoning. Desserts taste like an Angel made them. The service is kind, attentive, and spot on, with an amazing staff. The chef never disappoints. Friday nights feature Walter Jr. playing in the back room. The house cabernet is a favorite J Lohr, and be sure to ask for their house fresh-baked warm bread with oil and vinegar. Very reasonable prices. Be sure to make a reservation.
