“9/10 ! Such a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere, the service is okay (some are young and not attentive) but the FOOD is everything here. The spring rolls are the best in town, hot teas are great, and virtually any entree (from what I've tried) are exceptionally well done. The flavor / portions / price are all great, wouldnt change a thing.“

“Thai Bayou Cafe had been closed for a period of time and I was quite sad because I had heard great things so imagine how happy I was hearing that they were open! I pulled up the menu and decided on Pad Thai and since I had limited time for lunch, I decided to call it in and pick it up. A very friendly guy when stated that he was the owner took my order and asked for my choice of protein. I asked if I could have it extra spicy, heavy on the basil and he told me that his wife (the cook) would have no problem making that happen. Ten minutes later, I was picking up my order from the same friendly guy. The Pad Thai was piping hot and was everything that Pad Thai should be: spicy, fresh, sweet, SOUR, crunchy...it was literally an explosion of flavors. The only slight complaint I have is about the price as compared to the portion size. The medium sized container was enough for one person and was a few cents shy of $20. If you read my other reviews, you'll know that I do not mind paying for good food however I did have to point out the price/value. I am curious about the other things on the menu and plan on visiting again quite soon.“
