What an incredible dining experience! We brought our teenage son and let him completely pick our menu. He chose several dishes he had never tasted before, and we were honestly blown away. He critiqued every single food item and was absolutely floored by how delicious everything was. Every bite was phenomenal!

A perfect fusion of American classics and Louisiana dishes cooked over open wood-fueled flame , served up in a comfortable and modern concept.
Came on recommendation from two different locals who said this was the best restaurant in Lafayette. We were not disappointed.
Reservations were needed, but the hostess was able to accommodate us by the kitchen. It worked out GREAT. Was able to see the chef, Sullivan, and his crew perform their magic on each of the dishes.

This isn’t just a steakhouse, it’s an experience. I found the environment warm and ambient, reflecting the chef’s vision. The service was amazing and the food immaculate. The cocktails are fun too. The restaurant fits perfectly with Lafayette’s downtown essence as well. It’s an experience I won’t forget.

Based on the reviews, Vestal Restaurant | Steakhouse is a beautiful place with great food and an amazing atmosphere. The food is incredible, with every dish from the Kaviar to the steak being perfect. The crab spaghetti is to die for and a must-order, and the grilled oysters are really good. The steak is cooked perfectly. The restaurant is top notch and feels like it should be in San Francisco or New York City. However, it can get pretty loud once the restaurant fills up, so it may not be the spot for a super quiet dinner. The service is just as impressive. One server was incredibly attentive and kind, giving great recommendations and even letting a guest sample a dish. He helped carry items and walked a guest to their car. The bartenders are also nice. Vestal is one of the best restaurants, and the whole experience makes it worth the drive.
