“My husband and I went for jazz tonight!!! It was our first time and it was amazing! Our waitress Anna was very nice and engaged with us about what we like and suggested certain things. We tried many different drinks called Hot sauce, Chantilly, Expresso martini, dirty classic martini!! All are top notch drinks. The food was great!! We had the fried chicken and gravy, crawfish sauce croissants and fish tops with crawfish sauce on top of fries. We will be back!! This is a hidden gem. Don’t miss out! I also had a spiked ice cream yum“

“We went to Mel’s on Johnston St. this past Saturday. It was busier than usual but there was a visiting football team and their supporters in town. The crowd was loud, but everyone seemed happy. The food came out hot and was very fast! The food and the service was excellent! We love Mel’s and had another great experience!“

“Been here a couple times already and both times it was after a night of drinking. I definitely recommend their loaded fries after some drinks. Their restaurant is also decorated with a lot of random photos lol I love looking at all of them. Good spot. Go here.“
