“My kids and I have made so many great memories walking or biking to Black Cafe. We once interviewed Trey as a school project on running small business. I loved the way he really engaged the kids on the topic and the questions he asked them to invite critical thinking on how they might run their own businesses. I really appreciate having been part of this community and hope to come back and visit as often as possible after our move to Austin. This place has the best Cafe Au Lait in town and their Scotch eggs are incredible! My kids devour the beignets every time.“

I love the cozy atmosphere, the sweet baristas, and sitting outside under the ferns is one of my new happy spots!“

“I used to live in Lafayette and came here almost daily. It’s still hands down my favorite coffee shop and I can’t find a place like it here in Austin. The atmosphere is so inviting and cozy and my iced caramel latte was on point every. single. time. Perfect. I don’t know if he still works there but Ian was the man! He knows so much about coffee and how to brew it just right! I also enjoyed the chef’s daily creations. Thank you for giving me the best office I’ve ever had ? Much love to you guys ❤️“

“I’ve always gone to this place for the E22. I started getting light ice and they gave me less. So I was told they could fill it up with milk or extra shot when I get less ice. But this is not acceptable… getting less ice doesn’t mean I get this less lol“
