“I was on a business trip to Jennings a few weeks ago and I kept hearing about Rocket Drive In throughout the day.
I was determined to find out just how good it was. Once the workday was done, I raced (responsibly drove) to the spot with my team and ordered their jalapeño sourdough. 🤤 It's not on the menu, but iykyk. Paired that up with a hot fudge sundae that had me dancing in my car on the drive back to NOLA.
Anytime I enter Jennings, I'll be checking the Rocket.“

“A coworker insisted I couldn't leave town without trying the boudin here, so I finally took the advice. I ordered a smoked boudin link with a side of cracklins, and added a bowl of gumbo to round out the meal. The boudin had plenty of flavor, the cracklins were freshly cooked, and the gumbo tasted like it had been simmering all morning. It's an easy place to satisfy a craving for classic Cajun food.“

“Really great Cajun food! Most entrees are $14-$20 per person and come with sides and a roll! Plate lunches are very yummy for a good price! The brisket is smoked in the smoker overnight and super tender:) BBQ plate lunches are delicious too!“

“Really great local place to grab a bite to eat. The drive thru is available to place orders but depending on what you get you will be asked if you want to wait or come back. I guess being in a small town some people order food and run other errands and come back before their food is ready. We opted to park in the lot and wait. Very friendly staff on top of really good food. We will stop here again next time we are in the area.“
