The hamburgers are great! The fries are abundant and are very good! The service is very friendly.My only complaint is that I can't get a "Pappy's" t-shirt since my "grandpa" name is "Pappy" :)
Really great local place to grab a bite to eat. The drive thru is available to place orders but depending on what you get you will be asked if you want to wait or come back. I guess being in a small town some people order food and run other errands and come back before their food is ready. We opted to park in the lot and wait. Very friendly staff on top of really good food. We will stop here again next time we are in the area.

The food at Pappy's is excellent. It's a little overpriced, but it's good enough to justify the cost. It's counter service, but the dining area is still pleasant. Probably the best place to eat in Lake Arthur.
