“This sonic will cook just about everything fresh to order because it is such a small location. Be prepared to wait for that to actually occur when you visit here. The food is always top notch, however, and you won't be served some old, nasty food that's been sitting there waiting for you to come buy it. It's cooked once you order it. Sometimes I can't lie, I feel like they're holding me hostage when they get more than half a dozen cars, but I have to remind myself there's no microwave and it's being made fresh, I must give it time to cook thoroughly!”

I ordered a smoked boudin link with a side of cracklins, and added a bowl of gumbo to round out the meal. The boudin had plenty of flavor, the cracklins were freshly cooked, and the gumbo tasted like it had been simmering all morning. It's an easy place to satisfy a craving for classic Cajun food.”
