The food is always fresh and great tasting. It's like having a really good home cooked meal... My favorite dish is the shrimp and okra gumbo. It's not quite like grandma's but close enough.
This is a great place for lunch. Andrea is really in the catering business but has become really well known throughout town with the locals, of which I am one, for a great plate lunch. She serves up outstanding down home authentic Cajun dishes like roast with rice and gravy, baked chicken with stuffing and vegetables and of course some of the best gumbo and potato salad in the city. Awesome Food, Really Recommend the Rice Pilaf with grilled fish. Amazing Chicken Salad Sandwiches as well. No dine In available for order and pickup since it is a catering business but nonetheless the people are really nice!
