“This is a great place for lunch. Andrea is really in the catering business but has become really well known throughout town with the locals, of which I am one, for a great plate lunch. She serves up outstanding down home authentic Cajun dishes like roast with rice and gravy, baked chicken with stuffing and vegetables and of course some of the best gumbo and potato salad in the city. Call before going to find out what's on the menu and if you're a visitor to our city be prepared to eat in your car as there are VERY few seats at the table inside.“

“I always enjoy the shrimp gumbo with added crab and oysters. Kevin enjoyed chicken fried steak with sweet potato fries. He asked for brown gravy & they served him a pint of it. His side salad was fresh with tiny grape tomatoes which he gave to me.Parking: The parking lot is shared with the gas station/gift shop.Kid-friendliness: There are several foods to choose from on the kids section of the menu. “Food was great. Had fried shrimp dinner (could have used 3 more shrimp to fill me). My date had the seafood platter and again it looked small but he didn't say anything. But it was good and ac was cold , that counts for a lot on these hot days. Some music would be nice too.“
