“Always a good meal for a reasonable price! Staff is very friendly! I only gave 4 stars for atmosphere because the tv is usually loud and the booths are set up for a big bellied 400lb man. Besides that, I love the place!
Parking: Parking is a little funky, on a slant and you have to back out onto the street“

“Yesterday, my niece, Natalie brought me to “Yam Good Pies”. Bc of the virus, there’s a nice walk up window and the customer wears a mask… She told me I was in for a TREAT! Was she ever right!I have been staying with Natalie & her husband, Kendrick from September 2, until September 10. I live in Hammond, Hurricane Ida really destroyed a lot in this area. We finally got power yesterday, thanks to the tireless efforts from Entergy & many States that came to help. I have been treated like royalty and in my 9 day stay have probably gained 10 pounds. I was sent home with a lemon, a sweet potato, a custard & an apple pie, last evening. There isn’t a crumb left, I ate every last bite by myself. I only wish I had ordered some of her “Sweet Tea Cakes” I’m sure those would not have made it through the day either!“
