“Every month, I drive the 216 miles from Houston, Texas down I-10 to Scott, Louisiana to Billy's. Food as always is good and Excellent Customer Service. This month, I decided to have Billys for Thanksgiving Dinner. I ordered what I always order, a dozen of pepper jack balls, a dozen of pepper jack wraps, a dozen of links and this time, I added a dozen of shrimp 🍤 boudain balls. So far so smooth, except today it was super packed at 8 o'clock in the morning when its always empty the previous months I have visited for years. Plus, a Louisiana State Trooper accosted me on I-10 heading back to Texas. I wish yall would open up a location in Texas because my days of driving through Louisiana are limited now especially with those crowds and Louisiana State Troopers hounding me. Sorry. Excellent food and Customer Service though. 😎”

“Stopped in at Java Square Cafe after runnin errands in town and it turned out real nice. Coffee was hot and smooth, not burnt, and the pastry I grabbed tasted fresh like it just come out the oven. Place is cozy and clean, folks behind the counter were friendly and didn’t mind I walked in with work boots. For a small spot the prices felt fair, I’d sure swing back in for another cup.”

“This is a delightful place with country charm and good eats. I had the chicken, dirty rice, fruit and corn bread that were plate licking fantastic. My partner's cabbage was also delicious. The blackeyed peas and porkchops were the highlight of his choices. The fruit was perfect if you want go back to your childhood remembering canned fruit was the best thing ever. “First time visiting today, 7/10/23 and so glad we did! I had the Tony Chachere on Focaccia an d my sister hand the Marilyn Monroe. We both loved them! I’ve never had Focaccia bread so soft and delicious before. It was very hard to choose from all the wonderful sandwiches and I’d definitely go back again next time I come back home to Louisiana for visit.”

“I’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants. But nothing beats the authenticity and real Mexican flavors like a good food truck. It’s just the way to go if you’re looking for the real deal. These guys serve incredible food! And for a super affordable price. The service here was also great. They were very kind and more than willing to help us pick out what we wanted. Giving us suggestions and explaining each dish. The food is absolutely delicious and I highly recommend anyone craving some good Mexican food to give it a try.

I usually drive back home just to get things like that or meet smoke meat, but thank God I don’t have to drive back home for a good snowball. My kids even love it when we always spend about $30-$40 every time because we just won’t everything.”

Attentive to good customer service. Busy location, ALL dishes preped and cooked to order. Plenty of parking. Clean restrooms and clean restaurant. Definitely worth the stop.”

“Gave this place a try. I had the House Special Fried Rice. It was really good but wow it had some spice. Not to much but didn’t expect it since I wasn’t asked if I wanted spicy or mild. “I'm a local regular. I visit about once a week, sometimes twice. Used to visit almost every day. But my last few visits has been disappointing. My favorite waitress isn't there any more. I wish they would call her up and re-hire her. I used to look forward to seeing her, now I don't have that.”

“Went on Mother's Day Sunday and it was busy but great. The food was as expected, the service was attentive (even for it being a very busy service time) and the atmosphere was relaxed. Great place to go eat out on the weekend. The buffet has a lot to choose from and there is a Mongolian BBQ for custom cooked to serve food.”

“Lunch visit.
The chips were thin, hot, & crispy and my Chicken & Avocado Salad was delicious, but the lettuce was old and somewhere closer to beige than green. So, I just ate the chicken & avacado and still brought some home. The portion, to me for lunchtime was large.
I think our waitress was slow...like, walked slowly.
There was quite a few other customers (even a baby shower in the back somewhere) but it was never too loud.
I'll be back!
I'd even take the same waitress. Maybe she was super tired. We all have our off days.”
