“Every month, I drive the 216 miles from Houston, Texas down I-10 to Scott, Louisiana to Billy's. Food as always is good and Excellent Customer Service. This month, I decided to have Billys for Thanksgiving Dinner. I ordered what I always order, a dozen of pepper jack balls, a dozen of pepper jack wraps, a dozen of links and this time, I added a dozen of shrimp 🍤 boudain balls. So far so smooth, except today it was super packed at 8 o'clock in the morning when its always empty the previous months I have visited for years. Plus, a Louisiana State Trooper accosted me on I-10 heading back to Texas. I wish yall would open up a location in Texas because my days of driving through Louisiana are limited now especially with those crowds and Louisiana State Troopers hounding me. Sorry. Excellent food and Customer Service though. 😎”

“Stopped in at Java Square Cafe after runnin errands in town and it turned out real nice. Coffee was hot and smooth, not burnt, and the pastry I grabbed tasted fresh like it just come out the oven. Place is cozy and clean, folks behind the counter were friendly and didn’t mind I walked in with work boots. For a small spot the prices felt fair, I’d sure swing back in for another cup.”

“This is a delightful place with country charm and good eats. I had the chicken, dirty rice, fruit and corn bread that were plate licking fantastic. My partner's cabbage was also delicious. The blackeyed peas and porkchops were the highlight of his choices. The fruit was perfect if you want go back to your childhood remembering canned fruit was the best thing ever. For good southern cooking look no further than this little county corner in Opelousas, Louisiana.”

“First time visiting today, 7/10/23 and so glad we did! I had the Tony Chachere on Focaccia an d my sister hand the Marilyn Monroe. We both loved them! I’ve never had Focaccia bread so soft and delicious before. It was very hard to choose from all the wonderful sandwiches and I’d definitely go back again next time I come back home to Louisiana for visit.”

“I’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants. But nothing beats the authenticity and real Mexican flavors like a good food truck. It’s just the way to go if you’re looking for the real deal. These guys serve incredible food! And for a super affordable price. The service here was also great. They were very kind and more than willing to help us pick out what we wanted. Giving us suggestions and explaining each dish. The food is absolutely delicious and I highly recommend anyone craving some good Mexican food to give it a try.

The chicken cracklins were warm with a light crisp, the boudin was meaty with good flavor, the fried ribs are always our favorite to chew on, the meat pie (meat) is really good and the crawfish pie is my hubby's favorite. Outside, the fuel pumps are roomy and easy to operate. The diesel pumps on the side are very convenient for my hubby's dually. The staff has been really nice and Mr. Hebert is always accommodating if something is needed. Overall, we give it a great review and we're excited they have come to Jennings to open their business”

“The best snow cone the best nachos. I couldn’t ask the better. I am not from Opelousas. I usually drive back home just to get things like that or meet smoke meat, but thank God I don’t have to drive back home for a good snowball. My kids even love it when we always spend about $30-$40 every time because we just won’t everything.”

Attentive to good customer service. Busy location, ALL dishes preped and cooked to order. Plenty of parking. Clean restrooms and clean restaurant. Definitely worth the stop.”

“We had a reservation for a party of 11 including 2 children. The atmosphere is chill and nice. The manager and waitress checked on us several times. Overall was ok and the service was great but the food was average. The portion size was nice but my chicken florentiene was bland. It came with garlic mashed potatoes which I enjoyed and as the other side I got rice dressing; it needed more seasoning and was just basic. The entrée itself was fried and mostly breading over a small chicken breast. It could have used more seasoning but putting the spinach and sauce over the chicken made it a soggy mess. There weren't many thing on the menu that I desired so I settled for this. I only went to this restaurant because of my dad's birthday dinner but I prefer Infusion (better food) or the Lil pizza spot. Probably won't be back.”

“I'm a local regular. I visit about once a week, sometimes twice. Used to visit almost every day. But my last few visits has been disappointing. My favorite waitress isn't there any more. I wish they would call her up and re-hire her. I used to look forward to seeing her, now I don't have that.”

“Went on Mother's Day Sunday and it was busy but great. The food was as expected, the service was attentive (even for it being a very busy service time) and the atmosphere was relaxed. Great place to go eat out on the weekend. The buffet has a lot to choose from and there is a Mongolian BBQ for custom cooked to serve food.”

“The night we learned was the night of the Super Bowl. And the guacamole was extremely salty. And the martini was of no type. I've ever talked about paste it in my life. I spoke to the owner about it. And they did it, we're going to make the corrections, but I have to say that our waitress was absolutely wonderful and very helpful. I'd be willing to go back and try the food 1 more time and hopes that they have corrected the salt issue, but other than that, it was a nice place. We had a nice visit with our waitress.”
