This is a delightful place with country charm and good eats. I had the chicken, dirty rice, fruit and corn bread that were plate licking fantastic. My partner's cabbage was also delicious. The blackeyed peas and porkchops were the highlight of his choices. The fruit was perfect if you want go back to your childhood remembering canned fruit was the best thing ever. For good southern cooking look no further than this little county corner in Opelousas, Louisiana.
Great place for lunch. Simple menu, but very good food. I’ll be back next time I’m in town.
The food was really good and the people friendly. My wife and I will stop again, next time we are visiting our people in Louisiana.
