Poke Restaurants near Denham Springs, LA

“Opokè is amazing. I’ve had poke in San Diego, Hawaii, Seattle, and Boston, all cities famous for seafood, and this place still ranks easily in my top five. I can not believe it’s in Denham springs Louisiana. The fish was fresh, the ingredients crisp, and the portion was huge. Every bite tasted clean and balanced. I travel often for work and go out of my way to find good poke wherever I am, and I can’t believe I didn’t know about Opokè in my own backyard sooner. Highly recommended for anyone who actually knows what good poke should taste like. 10/10 I will absolutely be returning. P.S. please get marinated mushrooms like Southfin on Perkins rd has.“

“I did not know this place existed. When I walked inside, it was everything. I had a made to order burrito with shrimp, rice, cheese & onion. It was delicious! My fiancee had a taco bowl of some sort & my daughter had the chicken quesadilla. I will be going back. The staff was welcoming, friendly & suggestive. I could not decide at first, but when I started asking about the different types of burritos and bowls, they were all very knowledgeable. So, I found another treasure right next to Walmart in Central!“
