This place has wonderful warm, friendly family like service. The restaurant is spotless and the old warm charm oozes from its pores. Is it fancy or anything more than it pretends to be, no. Great Louisiana Charm. The oysters were delicious. I had both the charbroiled and traditional. They were large and delicious. Then I had the cheesy grits and Soft Shell Crab! Come hungry because you get a big bowl of grits and 2 crabs! I was stuffed!Service was great, and our waitress was very helpful in choosing great options for outside the norm.Parking is simple, and the atmosphere is very mom and pop. I only wish I had taken some photos.

Our second time here and I have to say I I really enjoyed. So nice to eat at a seafood restaurant that you can actually taste the food. Seasoned well and sauces not overly salted. The hush puppies had great flavor but the outer fried shell a little hard. My husband got the soft shell crabs which they are known for. Everything was good. Service was friendly and timely. Would love to go back.
