Porter & Luke's Restaurant Reviews
I celebrated my 40th birthday at P&L’s, and it couldn’t have been better! The service was top-notch, the cocktails were spot on, and the food was outstanding. Hands down, the best prime rib I’ve ever had. If you’re looking for a place to host a large private event, I can’t recommend P&L’s enough!
Getting really fed up with porter and luck's restaurant not willing to seat just two people. This the third time that my wife and I where told by management that they would not seat a table for two
Because where only catering to large parties.
All three times we were turned away was on Saturdays around 5:30 and 6:00pm.
We couldn't have been more satisfied or pleased. Everything we had was on point. And I mean EVERYTHING. We will be back. Soon I hope

Porter & Luke's Restaurant offers a dining experience with varying experiences. The bar area can be utilized for meals when tables are unavailable. The brunch menu has had instances where foreign objects have been found in the food, and the restaurant has responded by offering complimentary drinks. The service is noted to be satisfactory, with prime rib and mashed potatoes receiving positive feedback. The seafood gumbo and fried speckled trout dishes have been described as lacking in seafood and overpriced. The atmosphere has been compared to a bus station. Overall, the restaurant has received mixed reviews. Recent visitors praised the gumbo, ribeye, and chocolate cake from the Coolinary menu, expressing interest in trying more regular menu items. Others enjoyed a girls' lunch with good, strong drinks, friendly service, and tasty food, noting they would return if in the area. A group celebrating Father's Day found the late afternoon atmosphere quiet but appreciated attentive service, despite fast speech from the server. They enjoyed turtle soup, crab dip, combo seafood platter, fish special, soft shell crab, veal with pasta, and desserts like ice cream and bread pudding. The wine was also praised. Diners consistently enjoy the hot blue crab appetizer, variety of entrees, and the perfectly seasoned and cooked soft shell crabs. The restaurant is described as a friendly neighborhood spot with a generally positive reputation.
