“We were invited to dine with friends at Brasa Churrasqueria and were not certain what to expect. Our server was great, explaining the cocktail offerings in detail. The menu was varied and the food was quite good. I am not experienced with Brazilian cuisine, but the taste was great and everything we had was very good. I will definitely return to try some of the other offerings.Vegetarian options: Some non-meat choicesDietary restrictions: Staff will try to assist with restrictions you make them aware ofParking: Free parking lot out frontKid-friendliness: More an adult environmentWheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible“
“I had an amazing time with our server: I think her name was Jenny or Jen. She got us To try the pineapple margaritas! She is the best server I’ve had since I’ve been coming to Saltgrass with my family! Saltgrass no joke has the best steaks too! Great service overall and the manager even came check on us!“
“I had low expectations. When we walked in, it was clear that they weren't quite staffed for the business. It seems the social media advertising is working. So I figured we would wait at least half an hour for a bloomin' onion and forty-five for a cold ribeye. It did take a spell for the server to get to our table, but the pace of service was on point after that. He was nice as hell to book. I think he said his name is Kendrick. Anyway, Kendrick brought my wife two varieties of extra butter on separate occasions without a hint of annoyance, so we tipped him pretty well.I had two glasses of their proprietary beer, and it wasn't bad. Perfectly paired with the full-fat dinner we ordered. The blooming onion was great, obviously. The steak was a little cold, but cooked to temp and well rested, so I didn't care. I would love to know how the food cost works out over there. It didn't eat like an expensive steak, but it was a lot better than a cheap steak. If you want a steak and a beer, and you don't want to break a Benjamin on it, you could eat here. Ask for Kendrick. That's what he told me, anyway. He said to ask for Kendrick if we came back, so I'm giving y'all the same advice.“
“The food, service and atmosphere were awesome. James (our waiter) gave us some good recommendations. I ordered the crab cakes (appetizer), Cowboy Ribeye (entree) and my wife and I shared the Lobster Mac n Cheese. We both absolutely loved the crab cakes and the lobster mac.“
“3 of us looking for a good steak with a white tablecloth ambiance found it at Chophouse. The service was outstanding as Daniel offered many suggestions and was very patient with our questions and special requests. Our secondary server was also efficient with a sense of humor. The filets were melt in your mouth tender and cooked as requested. Everything from the warm bread and smooth wine to the key lime pie made for a wonderful and relaxed dining experience. HIGHLY recommend. Cost in line with the excellent meal and service.“
“Celebrated my 33rd birthday here this past Wednesday and was not disappointed. I was told I would be having one of the best steaks I've ever had, so I tried the Ribeye. Paired it with a pour of whiskey, the ribeye literally melted the second it touched my tongue. The service was also outstanding in that he frequently checked in on us without disturbing us. I'm not much a dessert person, so instead, they brought me out an espresso and put a little candle off the side of the plate. Great birthday experience!Kid-friendliness: There was a couple large tables that had multiple kids ranging around 10 years old and up. No babies.“
“Always great food and great service. Crab cakes are our favorite appetizer, but there are many other good choices. Hard to pick between the steaks; all are wonderful. And there are other good entrée choices as well. Be sure to leave room for one of the great desserts.“
“This was one of the best ribeyes ive had in a while! The brussel sprouts were my favorite side dish and the fresh bread was delicious. We waited 15 min for a table because we changed from 4 to 5 people after making the reservation, but they were able to accommodate. We had two waiters who were very pleasant although the food took a while to come out. The crowd died down around 9 and they started playing music, which was a little too loud for the setting in my opinion. Overall i would return and recommend to a friend.Wheelchair accessibility: The restrooms were upstairs but there is an elevator. There is a hump to get over the door threshold but no steps to the front entrance.“
“Fascistic Old School steak House... Not fine dining but so very good. The sides were great, the steaks were well prepared but just one notch below what I would expect from a fine dining steak House. The atmosphere is not fine dining, more old school church basement but the service is great.“
“La Boca is a one of a kind steak restaurant. The cuts are not super traditional for the local market but the preparation is superb. A flank steak so tender you can cut it with a fork and super flavorful. The service is very good and the decor is nice as well. Not a traditional steak restaurant, but a whole next level experience. Very, very good.Vegetarian options: Primarily a steak houseDietary restrictions: Staff will try to assist with any restrictions you make them aware ofParking: Lots of street parkingKid-friendliness: More an adult environmentWheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible“
“The best restaurant I've ever been in and actually gotten full.. My husband and I was here from MS for our 19th year anniversary.. Everything was great The Steak and Omg the blue crab was amazing ? the crawfish sauce ???I'm talking to much now... The staffs was everything and some.. We will be back “
“Historic family steakhouse. Building is well preserved. Not too crowded for s midday lunch. Service was attentive but learned toward slow or leisurely. Our meals were good, the 'sizzling plates' were nice and hot but not sizzling.Salmon was not on the menu but we overheard a table ordering it after our waitress said there were no specials and it was quite good. Our filet was tender and cooked as ordered. The rib eye looked nice but was much thinner and tougher than expected for such a historic steak house so I can't recommend one of my favorite cuts of meat.Desserts looked good but we'd already spent almost 2 hours there so it was time to move on...“
“The atmosphere was wonderful. Fresh, clean and well lit. We were greeted expeditiously and sat at our table. Our server was very soon to approach. She took drink orders, the appetizer order and offered fresh bread also. The blooming onion and dipping sauce was delicious as was the bread. It was brown warm bread loaves served with creamy butter. We ordered the rib eye, medium, which came with 2 sides, I chose the mushrooms and loaded mashed potatoes. Also, we ordered 2 Outback burgers, one with fries and macaroni and cheese, the other with loaded baked potatoe. Everything was cooked and prepared exactly as requested. Our server passed by several times checking to make sure we were okay and didn't require any further attention. The meal was amazing and the service was fantastic. We would definitely recommend this location and will be returning.“
“We have our family Christmas dinner here and every year, It is always fun for us and all the kids. We always have a great time. The Hibachi Chefs are always fun and entertaining and adds to our fun family Christmas dinner. The waiters, waitresses and bartenders are the best. Their attention never stops. We appreciate all the employees every time we go. They make our celebration so much fun.Parking: Easy access in and out of the parking lot.Kid-friendliness: They always take great care of our kids and grandkids wants and needs.?“
“I've had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant twice in the past 6 weeks, as it was highly recommended. Both occasions were fantastic. Although a loud atmosphere, the food and service outweigh the noise. Anytime I visit New Orleans, I will make Dickie Brennan's a must.“
“This a hidden gem. First off ,the place was really cute . Nice little picture wall right outside before the entering . We went on a Sunday it was my birthday and my niece suggested this place. It did not disappoint. Hardly anyone was in there and our waitress was very attentive. We were a party of 10, I food did not take long. We had several dishes chicken and waffles, which was just ok the waffle was supposed to have added bacon but it didn't. The bronze gulf redfish was delicious, the trinity rib tips were a little salty but not bad ,also the Salmon was very good. The bbq shrimps and grits were a little spicy but delicious. The beef short rib hash delicious. Since it was my birthday I received a desert. I got the Beignets omg!! They were soo good. We were told they have a band on Fridays so we will definitely be back to enjoy that experience! Nothing like good food and good music.!!“
“After surviving hurricanes and a fire, this family-owned restaurant has thrived in the Lakeview neighborhood. It hasn't caved to the increased prices of other steak restaurants but instead continues to provide a quality dining experience for families, business dinners and other clientele. The service is impeccable, the wine and drink prices are reasonable and competitive, the food is rich and savory. Our only critique is that they are not open for longer hours. The Steak Knife is a real treat!“
“Had Marissa as our waitress even though they were very busy she treated us like we were the only ones there. Her service was spot on and she was very attentive and checked on us the entire meal. Food was excellent and cooked exactly how we asked for it. I will definitely be back and will be requesting Marissa. Thanks for a great evening.“
“YA'LL put some of their homemade tartar sauce on your burger, PLEASE! .......I only got Ursula and Sarah's names, but EVERYONE here was wonderful! They treated us all like family, and the food was scrumptious! I got the burger (TOTALLY RECOMMEND!), my 19-month-old got fried fish, mom got crab cakes, hubby got tuna, and everything was just prefect. My baby dropped her coloring menu on the floor and the gentleman working there even got her a clean, brand new one instead of the one that touched the floor! Also, eveyone at the table loved that tarter sauce! Thank you Ursula and Sarah and everyone else! This was a wonderful ending to an amazing New Orleans day trip!Kid-friendliness: They were so wonderful to my 19-month-old! Ms. Ursula totally spoiled her like she was her niece and my little one loved it!“
“My friends and I ate there on March 22nd for lunch. The $25 3 course Spring Special was enjoyable. The food was very good. However, there was one other item that was absolutely terrible. We ordered the soufflé potatoes as a beginner course. I've had them in the past and they were delightful. They should be light, crisp and hollow in the middle. What they served (and I refused) were a few flat soggy, extremely greasy pieces of potato. The bottomless mimosas/sparkling wine/rose' was a good value as well. Our waiter was adequate. I would not have him serve me again. But the gentleman who was his assistant was marvelous! He was attentive and engaging and was the one who really took care of us. I would definitely go back as, overall, it was an enjoyable afternoon.“
“I have become quite a regular here. The filet is beyond amazing especially with the steak fries. The staff has always been really great (shout out to Dustin Damon and Mark). I have never honestly had an issue here. I tell everyone I know that this is the best place to get a steak or a nice romantic dinner. I have sent many couples here and will continue to do so. Keep up the good work!“
