Celebrated my wife's 50th birthday and we could not have been more pleased with Mr. John's. The food, service, ambience, and atmosphere was amazing. What a jewel in the Crescent City. Worth the trip, no doubt.
Great food and great service. The crab cake appetizer is outstanding. All the steaks are done to perfection. And despite the "steakhouse" in the name, there are a number of other delicious entrees as well. The twin lobster tails and the Veal Alyssa are two of our non-steak favorites.

My absolute favorite go-to for Friday lunch. Paul is always welcoming and treats me and my guests like family, and I love having Boris take care of me. He remembers what I like even when I forget. This last visit, Boris surprised us with the most delicious cheesecake. I can't recommend them highly enough.
