“While I’ll aways recommend, tonight definitely was a damper on what used to hold a top reputation for years for us. We went for our 17th anniversary (just 2 people). And I cannot tell you how many times we kinda got lost in the system and the service was soooo slow! They comp a drink but to be honest- 2 hours for a meal for 2 people is just long. Chocolate dessert seemed to be shrinking in size as well. For a $200 meal for 2, I personally wouldn’t have wanted to repeat the night again. Steak was okay but chewy and my husband’s more expensive steak, lacked flavor. I love ya La Boca but tonight will probably make us wait a bit to return.“

“Stopped by for dinner since it was just steps from my hotel, and I’m glad I did! Sat at the bar and had the pleasure of being served by Charlie, who was super attentive and made the experience even better. I ordered the wedge salad, crab cake, and pork belly. The wedge salad and crab cake were my favorites — the crab cake had no filler and was full of flavor. I also learned they give free bread with meals, which I didn’t get to try this time but definitely plan to on my next visit. Portions are generous, so come hungry! Everything was a very large size, and I left feeling satisfied. Can’t wait to go back and try the bread pudding next time. Highly recommend if you’re in New Orleans and looking for a solid steakhouse experience with great service.“

“My wife and I were in for the JazzFest celebrating my 50th birthday and went for dinner. Our steaks and seafood were absolutely amazing and words cannot describe our server Reba! She was fantastic! The assistant manager Gerard prepared our bananas Foster tableside and give us the history of the dish while he prepared it! It was to die for! “Ruth’s is a classic of course but what truly made our dining experience exceptional was the bartender/server Jeremiah. From the moment we arrived, he created a welcoming atmosphere with genuine warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. His knowledge of the menu and drink selections was impressive, and every recommendation was spot-on. Beyond excellent service, he had a remarkable ability to anticipate our needs without ever being intrusive. Drinks were crafted perfectly, timing was flawless, and every interaction made us feel like valued guests rather than just another table. His positive attitude, personality, and dedication elevated what would have been a great meal into a memorable experience. It's rare to encounter someone who combines hospitality, skill, and genuine care so effortlessly. Restaurants are often remembered for their food, but outstanding team members like Jeremiah are what keep guests like myself coming back!“
