Not impressed. I usually skip casino steakhouses because it’s just one HUB kitchen, numerous chefs making a plethora of meals. This weekend I gave it a try and indulged. Sunday night I’m not sure if they didn’t get a stock order during the week or it was a huge rush. Everything I ordered was non existent. Everything else I did order was bland and fatty as if it was the last piece of meat from a dog bowl. The deviled eggs…awful no soul like Atchafalaya or Jolie. Wanted...read full review
Bartender was great. We visited on a Friday and Saturday evening. Cocktails were tasty. I had a appetizer of deviled eggs and they were very good. Will visit again next time I'm in town.

The Steakhouse New Orleans is a popular spot known for its great food and friendly service. Ruby and Anthony are known for providing excellent service, with Ruby especially knowledgeable about the menu and offering helpful suggestions. Customers often mention the wide selection of food, including oysters, crab cake, chicken, and pork chops. The restaurant is a good choice whether visitors are regulars or celebrating a special occasion like an anniversary. Recent reviews highlight tasty dishes such as Crabmeat Au Gratin Oysters, wedge salad, and grilled asparagus. Many diners praise the filet mignon and Cane Glazed Pork Chop served with Parmesan Gnocchi and Bacon Braised Collards with Mustard Seed. The ambiance is described as dull and boring by some, and service can be slow during busy times like the 4th of July weekend. However, others mention the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service from staff like Darnesia, who was friendly and fast. The restaurant offers generous pours on wine, and dishes are cooked to perfection, with flavors that stand out. Beignets are also a highlight, exceeding expectations. Some diners have noted issues such as a salty steak or a Caesar salad made with iceberg lettuce, which was not acceptable, and a few found the lighting too dim, making it hard to see the food. Despite mixed experiences, many customers recommend making reservations and enjoying the menu, especially the filet mignon and the Cane Glazed Pork Chop. Overall, The Steakhouse remains a go-to option in NOLA for a satisfying dining experience.
