“The Manager Tony is amazing!! He welcomed us and explained how Salad Station worked since it was our first time. The place was extremely clean, everything was very fresh and the variety was phenomenal. Literally there was something for everyone! Workers were also helpful and kind. “I have had the fish with beans and rice. It was delicious and reminded me of how my grandmother used onions and mustard. It’s been a long time and this meal sent me back to childhood. “Great place for breakfast, menu has changed some what, less omelet selection, grits are a little runner spread out onto the plate looks like more but less. I ordered fish and grits w/eggs. Instead waiter brought me a bowl shrimp and grits with eggs on the side. I ask where is the fish she said oh! Yes came back with the fish. I told her I had ordered fish and grits, no sir you ask for shrimp and grits. Anyway the food taste good my guess were happy, In the end so was I. 9/04/23.“

“The smoothies are delicious, the yeah wit da yeah is one of my favorites. Although i did not feel welcomed by the 2 female employees whom i greeted (and they did not reply) . One of them was hiding behind the napkins on the counter until i came closer. They both looked as if i needed to hurry up and order and leave. And there was no traffic in the establishment.“

“What a diamond in the rough! The owner brought out a little setup and made our guacamole dip in front of us while he told us stories of his place and how it started. He was as much of the experience as an authentic Mexican restaurant in the middle of Cajun land. The food was great and came out quickly. If you like Mexican food, this is definitely a stop for you while in New Orleans. We got the taco plates with beef.

“I enjoyed my visit to Chill Out Cafe! I had a bowl of their Tom Kha and I enjoyed it. I had never seen tomatoes or carrots in this dish from any other Thai restaurant before, but I enjoyed the flavors of this addition. The calamari was deliciously crunchy. Our whole table ordered bubble tea but unfortunately they did not have enough boba left, as it was the end of the day. The thai tea and coffee was delicious regardless. “OMG!!! I came to this place on a whim this morning. This is the best food I have had from a cafe joint in a very long time. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese with a Salad and it was DIVINE! Well cooked, nicely seasoned. A pleasant Saturday surprised. I highly recommend this small cafe on St. Claude, located a block from Fredrick Douglass High School. Oh, and the vibes are heavenly.

We ordered The Meats, SO good. I'm a huge fan of thin sliced pizza, and this one was one of the best I've tasted. It was thin but not too thin, and the crust was really crispy. I loved it. All the ingredients were fresh. Good stuff 👍“
