Hands down the absolute best hibachi I've ever had. The service was excellent, the good was fresh and phenomenal. Found a new spot to be a regular. This is my new go to whenever we eat out. I cant say enough amazing things about this place. Upset with myself for just finding this place. Luckily my husband was looking for a good new hibachi place to eat because the other ones in Metairie aren't good. This is absolutely the place to go. YummieBox is a restaurant that has received excellent reviews. One reviewer called it the absolute best hibachi they have ever had, with excellent service and fresh, phenomenal food. The steak, chicken, and shrimp plate with the rice and sauce on top of everything was described as just wow. Another reviewer ordered a yummiebox and steak & shrimp hibachi, saying the yummiebox was yummy and the steak & shrimp was enough to keep them fed for two days and was perfectly fine even when reheated, definitely meant for 2 people. The french fries were really really good, and the wings were cooked really well, were a very nice size, and were a good value for the money. New owners were very nice. The food was really liked, and the employees were nice. It is primarily a takeout spot with limited seating. A yummiebox special with sweetheat wings and fried rice was delicious, the food came out fresh, the wings were still crispy, the eggroll was also delicious and crispy, and the fried rice was very seasoned so you don't have to eat it with soy sauce.
