“Perfect spot for a quick bite and drinks. The fries and tenders had a flavorful creole seasoning that was a good amount of spicy. The Voodoo Punch daiquiri we tried was really good but a bit pricy. I wouldn’t come out of your way to visit if it’s your first time in New Orleans, but it was perfect for us after a long day of traveling.“

When the lady brought the bag to the table, I asked Ma'am is this the platter and she then replied load and proud Yeeeepppppp! Mind you, we paid aprox $70.00 for this heartburn and two drinks that tasted like over rated and highly sweetened suga water with a Lil color. Eat at your own risk and if you choose to do so make sure you have the anti acid pills close by along with some baby wipes to donate your platter to a better cause.“
“On our New Orleans trip, my fiancé and I snuck away from a work event to grab a quick bite and take it to the hotel we were in nearby. We saw this kinda hole-in-the-wall, Voodoo Chicken & I was sold - I freakin' love wings. We walk in and there are several people behind the food area, but nobody behind the bar. The sign says to order at the bar, not the food area. Okay, got it. We waited. And waited. And waited. And nobody is helping us. A gentleman mentions after we openly wondered whether we should leave that the woman was in the restroom. We said okay, got it, we'll wait. We waited. It wasn't obnoxious, but it did take several seemingly long moments for the lady to come out. When she did, though, we were treated to a lovely conversation about how many bones she's broken, and how her grandma hadn't woken her up from when she set a small fire in her kitchen. We traded war stories while they whipped up voodoo wings & king cake ice cream for us (they also have giant vats of daquiris you can take with you along the street, since they have open-carry laws, but we were too tired for all that). We took it to the hotel to eat, where my fiancé had reasonably good chicken tenders, I enjoyed my sweet-with-some-heat-at-the-end voodoo wings, and we polished off the very good, mildly sweet, kinda cinnamony king cake ice cream (not much in the way of chunks of king cake in it, just FYI). We ate and slept like babies right after. It was tough to compete with the other sensational meals we had but the wings were pretty damn bomb; I'll always remember them.“

“As someone who has never tried the food from here, I was excited. I ordered my food and it was ready almost immediately. I was extremely pleased with the food they provided. Every employee I spoke to or asked something of while I was there was polite, prompt and accommodating. “One of the best fried turkeys I've ever had. We had the cajun fried for Christmas. This bird was flavorful, juicy & moist. The service is warm and inviting. The lady taking orders truly makes you feel like you're talking to a an aunt in the family. I would recommend for any occasion.“

“Food was hot and fresh and delicious. Staff was super friendly, came by once and made sure everything tasted good and we didn't need anything. My only complaint is it's a really small dining area. My family of five didn't have a table that fit us. It wouldn't stop me from eating there again or anything like that. It just might be something to consider if you're coming there with a relatively large family or group.“

“We drove from Killian to see our daughter and spend some time in NO. We had always wanted to try Dixie Chicken; so since we were in the neighborhood we stopped in for lunch. My hubby loves fried chicken and he was blown away by Dixie’s Fried Chicken. The wait staff was also just as amazing We will definitely be back.“

“Raising Cane’s is my favourite chicken restaurant. The chicken fingers are cooked fresh and never frozen. The lemonade is really fresh and tasty and made in the unit from real fresh lemons. The staff is friendly and amazing. Food is prepared fresh when you order it and comes out fast. The special secret sauce pairs well with the fingers and fries. Cane’s specialises in chicken fingers and they do it right. Their tag line “One Love” is perfect and is present throughout your Cane’s experience. With many locations, you’re never far from a unit!!!! Stop in and git ya sum!!!! And bring ya mamma and dem!!!! I love me my Cane’s!!!“
“Holy Moly! As a born and bred South Georgia girl ( not really a girl anymore, lol) I know chicken. Or I thought I did. So when I say that this is without a doubt the best dang chicken sandwich on the planet, you can take that info to the BANK! My daughter Anna insisted we go there first thing as we attended the New Orleans Fried Chicken Festival and although we had some great dishes, this was just spectacular! Now have I ever called a chicken sandwich spectacular? Not once and I have had some really good ones in my lifetime.I just know when I win the lottery ( and I am lucky!) these will be the first folks I invest in. So if you want your tastebuds to be dancing all day, just go. I'm not normally this excited about something, but they have it going on!“
“People were very nice and accommodating. Place was in a nice location. Food was just average. We had chicken sandwiches. The breakfast looked good. I would go back and try that sometime. Not a place I would good out of my way for but also would be satisfied eating there again. The fries were great. Definitely the highlight.“

“A lil while I’m the wall Chinese store but I must say there food is good for a decent price. My favorite is the shrimp and veggies w/ shrimp fried rice their brown sauce in good and the customer service is good had a mix up with my order and they corrected it with any fuss which is why I gave them four start but dining area is very small but great take out food“
“My wife and I had a late evening hunger that needed to be craved. We had a taste for chicken, and Gus was our second option. They stayed open at a great time to accommodate our hunger. Although we had a bit of a wait to sit down( there was a party of 28 people) so we were patient. The chicken was hot and fresh. Crisp skin, though I can't say that it was flavorful. It had a late kick of spice to it but the spice wasn't overwhelming. I want to try the tenders on my next outing and the greens.“
