“This is a great place for people visiting New Orleans from out of town to get a taste of the New Orleans food. 100% recommend getting the biscuits. They are the best biscuits I have ever had.Kid-friendliness: They don't mind having a ton of kids being crazy at a dinner table.Parking: It is awesome“
“My husband got surprised by the spicy sauce on his chicken sandwich, so the server gave us our meal FREE! What a compromise, so us being spice whips! Their chicken & fish were good; not spicy. Thank you Popeye's (our first visit) for great customer service!“
“My wife and I had a late evening hunger that needed to be craved. We had a taste for chicken, and Gus was our second option. They stayed open at a great time to accommodate our hunger. Although we had a bit of a wait to sit down( there was a party of 28 people) so we were patient. The chicken was hot and fresh. Crisp skin, though I can't say that it was flavorful. It had a late kick of spice to it but the spice wasn't overwhelming. I want to try the tenders on my next outing and the greens.“
“Viola, who tended the bar was nothing but nice, kind, and patient. She knew what she was talking about with everything, and her help was greatly appreciated. She made this whole experience amazing. My wife, and I enjoyed ourselves, and will be back multiple times because of her!“
“This place was recommended to us by a few of our friends and it was great. The chicken portions for tenders are massive, and despite being quite hungry, we coukd barely even finish a 3 piece, the portions were so big. Absolutely delicious too. Fries were good.Priced decently for what you get and being in a tourist trap of a street. Around 12 bucks or so and it wss filling.“
“I really enjoyed my meal at ShowBird. The service was incredibly helpful and welcoming, answered all of my questions and continued to check-in on me as I enjoyed my food. I ordered the Coop Scramble with the blackened chicken and hashbrowns, everything was seriously delicious. Definitely worth stopping by.“
“On our New Orleans trip, my fiancé and I snuck away from a work event to grab a quick bite and take it to the hotel we were in nearby. We saw this kinda hole-in-the-wall, Voodoo Chicken & I was sold - I freakin' love wings. We walk in and there are several people behind the food area, but nobody behind the bar. The sign says to order at the bar, not the food area. Okay, got it. We waited. And waited. And waited. And nobody is helping us. A gentleman mentions after we openly wondered whether we should leave that the woman was in the restroom. We said okay, got it, we'll wait. We waited. It wasn't obnoxious, but it did take several seemingly long moments for the lady to come out. When she did, though, we were treated to a lovely conversation about how many bones she's broken, and how her grandma hadn't woken her up from when she set a small fire in her kitchen. We traded war stories while they whipped up voodoo wings & king cake ice cream for us (they also have giant vats of daquiris you can take with you along the street, since they have open-carry laws, but we were too tired for all that). We took it to the hotel to eat, where my fiancé had reasonably good chicken tenders, I enjoyed my sweet-with-some-heat-at-the-end voodoo wings, and we polished off the very good, mildly sweet, kinda cinnamony king cake ice cream (not much in the way of chunks of king cake in it, just FYI). We ate and slept like babies right after. It was tough to compete with the other sensational meals we had but the wings were pretty damn bomb; I'll always remember them.“
“One of the best fried turkeys I've ever had. We had the cajun fried for Christmas. This bird was flavorful, juicy & moist. The service is warm and inviting. The lady taking orders truly makes you feel like you're talking to a an aunt in the family. I would recommend for any occasion.“
“Food was hot and fresh and delicious. Staff was super friendly, came by once and made sure everything tasted good and we didn't need anything. My only complaint is it's a really small dining area. My family of five didn't have a table that fit us. It wouldn't stop me from eating there again or anything like that. It just might be something to consider if you're coming there with a relatively large family or group.“
“If New Orleans is about community then Dixie Chicken & Ribs is your go too. The chicken is song itself. Crisped to perfection. Locals fill the tables in this small restaurant and the food and beverage servers know the clientele from years of stopping for lunch. Worth a visit.“
“Went in after work for a bite to eat.I actually saw an employee making Lemonade.I was surprised I assumed that the Lemonade was ready made. This guy juiced lemon after lemon! No wonder it tastes so good!?Me & bae got our meal and as usual we were pleased. We both got the Caniac combo with Lemonades.Sooo good! ??Thanks Raising Canes!“
“I'll try to keep it short+ This location is the Best location. My friend & I stopped by to grab late lunch. The service.. management and overall experience was Top Notch. They were busy shooting what I believe was a commercial and I ask if I could take pictures and kindly with no hesitation said yes. So when you're in the area Trust me This is where you Need to be. Thanks for the Great food, atmosphere and service.* love each other cause there's not enough in the World.~ Jasmine?“
“Spicy chicken sandwich was very delicious. First commercial chicken sandwich I've had that seemed natural, not processed. Very flavorful! 10 minutes to cook tells me ots the real deal. Mac and Cheese looked ordinary, but was really delicious. The mango juice drink was so refreshing! I'll definitely be back again!“
“Food was great! I got a Cajun chicken tenders basket with a side of jambalaya, my friend got the seafood platter with a side of jambalaya and we both enjoyed our food. The jambalaya was amazing! Service was quick, easy to find a place to sit, and the music was great.“
“Visiting from TX: I ordered my daughter a Caniac combo. Did notice until I arrive to her apt it was completely wrong, cause order was confirmed at both windows. I call location, left my info and return a day later to receive the full order replacement. They went above and beyond my expectations.Thank you for exceptional customer service. I don't eat meat but my adult children love Canes.“
“What can’t I say about this place if u love to dance while you eat or while u cooking lol this the place highly highly recommend the voodoo sauce man sweet and spicy at its finest i love the chicken there gust chicken watch out I love the tenders tho there my favorite drinks are good I like the blue bayou great staff I’m going to let there biscuits speak for itself all I’m going say lol it’s become my go to now next on my list is there alligator bites …“
“We visited new orleans from pensacola and wanted some late night wings. These were the best wings I have ever had. I will be returning every time we come into New Orleans. We had the garlic parm and the ohwee wings and the Cajun ranch fries. All of it was amazing. This place is a hidden gem at its finest.“
“Super clean restaurant, quick service and delicious food. It has a nice and welcoming atmosphere. Staff is friendly.Vegetarian options: There are none. Don't go...but you are missing out.Parking: Free parking in front the place and in adjacent mall parking“
“I really love this location. Good food, great atmosphere. I personally think it’s one of the best Cane’s in the city. The staff is always courteous and ready to help. The facilities are always clean. Plus it stays open late. My only complaint is that they don’t offer free WiFi like so many other restaurants and they few electronic outlets if you want to stay a while and work on your laptop.“
“I usually order the box combo or the 3 piece combo, but the chicken is not always fresh, even the fries aint...they be saggy and cold. When I go to the drive thru window I pay them $12 expecting my chicken fingers to be fresh and hot, and not chicken that has been sitting for hours, so the fries. shame on yall that is not because it should always be.“
“Wings here are fire. Go for the Wuzzam and Sweet Heat. Wings were crispy, saucy, and delicious. Gets pretty busy though so be warned, there might be a wait. Also, not necessarily in the best part of town. Just be aware of your surroundings, or order online. Prices also are not the best but given the flavor, definitely worth it. You will not be disappointed.“
“It was my first time, and I was pleasantly surprised. The tenders were so hot and juicy fried perfectly. The fries were hot and lightly seasoned, which was perfect for me. The raising canes sauce was definitely worth trying. It was the only other option besides honey mustard. Friendly and fast service.“
“My grandson loves the Caniac combo with extra fries, no cole slaw and 3 extra sauces! Cane's never gets his order wrong! Always hot and fresh, he has to wait a few minutes for things to cool down. Thank you, I've heard some complaints about the food price hike, but I'll pay a little more for it to be good like always! And even if there is a line, it moves quick! Let's Go!!?“
