“The food is really good and I’m glad this location is reopened but it still isn’t as good as the store in Westwego. The food there is worth the additional drive. Also don’t like early closing hours for the lobby nor the reason(s) why.“

“I don’t understand anyone saying this is the best chicken in New Orleans. It was mid at best. Very little flavor in the flimsy breading. Puny wings. Prices were fine & they obviously have a vibe with lots of character. Staff were friendly.“

“Another night in NOLA which means it’s time to try a new food spot. Earlier today I was over on Canal and passed by Willie’s. The smell itself drew me in and I decided at that moment that I was coming back. LoL!!!! Willie’s sits right on the strip so it’s super easy to find. The front was totally open and there were a few tables outside on the sidewalk. As the strip is super active, sitting outside would be dope if you wanted to people watch. LoL. Walking up to the counter, each register had a cashier so the line was running smoothly. Taking a moment to review the menu, it was as one would anticipate; simple, straightforward, and one dimensional. The highlight of Willie’s definitely appears to be the Daiquiri’ as there are many options. I decided on the 3pc Cajun Tender Combo which comes with Fries and a Honey Biscuit. I also added a side of Red Beans and Rice. I mean, it is NOLA so I had to do it. I placed my order. Received my number. And took a seat to await my order. The restaurant was clean and vibrant. The yellow and red throughout the restaurant really set an upbeat tone that pairs well with the neon lights and vibrant colors of the Daiquiris. Once my order was ready, it was delivered to the table and I was good to go. Let’s talk the Food: Biscuit - Simple. Buttery. Crunchy around the bottom edges. Soft in the middle. Nothing special to note. Reminds me of a biscuit from Church’s. I’ll say 7/10. Tenders - Big. Juicy. Crunchy on the outside. Well seasoned. That’s it. That’s all I got. 😂😂😂😂😂😂. I’ll say 5/10. Fries - Well Seasoned. Crunchy. I’ll say 7/10. Red Beans and Rice - Now hear me out. I love a good RB&R and these were good. There were way more beans than there was rice, which is ideal for this kind of dish. They weren’t too spicy. They were flavored well and the beans were tender. You can definitely tell they were slow simmered. I’ll say 8/10. Now… hear me out! The food wasn’t bad but for $25.00, chileeeeeeeeeeee. No ma’am, No sir. Lemme go to the chicken spot for half the price. Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying I won’t maybe go again if I want a lil piece of a tender. But at $13 for the Combo and $8 for the RB&R… imma need a coupon or something. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Ok, Ok. In all seriousness, if you’re in the area, go for the experience. *P. S. For my Up North people, Willie’s puts me in the mindset of our “New York Fried Chicken” spots that be on the strip in the hood.“

“Chick-Fil-A has been making headline breakthroughs on their quality. Food and employees are courteous. Always great to help. They really picked it up since they started a long time ago. I think everybody all over the state knows the restaurant quite well. Delicious food and a signature chicken sandwich. It's nothing like a nice hot chicken sandwich. Do you satisfy a person that is hungry?“

“i was starving one day, on my period, driving through traffic with heavy rain. the only thing that could cheer me up was canes so i went to the nearest one and i was met with such kindness that absolutely made my day. the drive through workers, sereeanse and sebastian were absolutely AMAZING with my service. they were so sweet, attentive, and are one of the best service workers ive ever met in a long long time. they deserve a raise or a promotion because they absolutely the best! definitely recommend.“

“I was debating on what to eat, so I called my coworker because she always talks about Chick-fil-A . Well, I was not disappointed. The service was excellent, and the market salad was totally delicious. Yum yum!
Today 6/2/26, I tried their chicken noodle soup . Let's just say it taste like Campbell's chicken noodle soup from the can. Seriously! Still good though!“

“We were in there earlier today and my 3 year old started choking and your cashier Danielle P didn’t hesitate to jump in and help me. She picked my daughter and hit her on the back several times which, luckily, was all it took to clear her airway. I just was really appreciative and thought her workplace should know she was going above and beyond. Thank you, Danielle!“

“This place is alright. My only hang-up with this restaurant, "Chick-fil-A or Chicka-Flick (as i like to call it)," is that you'll never get enough fries. The container is never full. I get that the fries can be big slices, but couldn't they think to make it order the containers that hold the fries a bit bigger. Whenever I order the fries, I feel ripped off, and this is the only thing I really enjoy from this restaurant. Chicka-Flick, I'm gon need you to get it together with these fries; 3 to 5 slices with a few nips of broken off pieces of other fries in any size is not ever enough and unsatisfactory when one of your claims to fame is for customers to be satisfied.
Vegetarian options: The salads are made to order and you can specify no chicken or cheese.
Parking: The parking lot is a decent size.
Wheelchair accessibility: There are at least 3-5 handicap parking spaces with wheelchair room.“

“I had a great experience at this Popeyes. I ran into an issue with my Uber Eats order, but the managers were extremely helpful and went out of their way to resolve it. They even offered me a free meal for the inconvenience, which I really appreciated.
Every time I come in, the staff makes me feel welcome. The environment is nice, clean, and well-maintained, and everyone is friendly and professional. Definitely one of the better locations I’ve been to—highly recommend!“

“2026: I came in while on the way home. The drive thru was actually fairly quick. The prices are the standard prices. From what I could see, everything was clean and well organized. Employees were efficient. The food was hot and good.
2021: Good food. Gets horribly busy at peak times and easily bogged down. Kind of clean during off peak times. Staff are there. I can't say they are friendly or helpful.“

“Me and my mom tried this place for the first time last week and the food was very good 🤤. I had the shrimp platter which came with jumbo shrimp and plenty of fries. My mama also had the same thing and we both enjoyed it. Prices are very reasonable so if you're looking for something affordable and good to eat I highly recommend Louie's Kitchen 💯“

“Yesterday was my first time trying Chicken Salad Chick. Such a unique concept for a drive thru but even more impressive was the time the employee took to check all my choices to make sure they did not contain gluten. He went above and beyond and deserves a shout out. I didn’t cath his name but great job!!!“

“The food is great as always. Yet the service is not great or chic fil a friendly. The guys handing the orders In pick up area were not nice nor friendly and actually really rude and almost disrespectful. I was not the only one with this issue and they were handing out the wrong orders to customers in front of me.“

“Avoid the Canal st . Location. I got charged $16 for a “tackle box @ combo for adding a single extra srtip( so a total of 3 ,inch long strips, and literally 4 popcorn shrimp (advertised as 1/4 lb of them)!!! This is NOT supposed to be a kids meal, I don’t mind paying a little extra for a good meal. This wasn’t good, nor a Meal 👎👎👎 Sadly,it will follow everything other fast food chain on Canal(Wendy’s,B.K, both Mc Donald’s,etc,,,) at least there’s still a good Tattoo shop! Big East Tattoo Company!!! Safer than Bourbon st….Best traditional shop in town!“

“I came in and picked up an order and it was so good that I came back and ordered 2 pot pies. The staff was very friendly. And offered me something to drink while I wait for my first wedges. “Over priced and order was messed up.. they usually are ok, but lately they've been having issues at this location.
UPDATE: wow it has definitely changed since I last visited. The night manager has such a vibrant attitude, she is sweet and very helpful she really was great and her workers were very nice as well. I love the change, even though the prices are quite high, just their energy alone made it a pleasant visit. 5⭐️“

“Great chicken but CHECK YOUR ORDER before you leave. We picked up a big order but they left out a $10 side & we didn't realize til we got home. Also check how busy they are on google. Don't go when they are busy unless you have time to wait 20+ min for your order.“

“Pissed! I had to go inside because it took too long to say my order was ready. Got inside and bunch of bags was sitting behind the counter ready to be distributed. So I ask the lady at the register can she check on my order...after searching through some bags my food was located and given to me! 😒 the chicken sandwich and coleslaw was delicious and the lemonade was phenomenal. Service was poor!“

“I really like the chicken sandwich, and the chicken was big and juicy. The sandwich was an impressive sight, with a generous portion of chicken that peeked invitingly from between the soft, toasted buns. The chicken itself was cooked to perfection, with a crispy, golden-brown coating that promised a delightful crunch.
Biting into the sandwich, I was immediately struck by the juiciness of the chicken. Each bite released a burst of savory, succulent flavor that was incredibly satisfying. The meat was tender and moist, almost melting in my mouth, and it was seasoned perfectly, with a balance of spices that enhanced its natural taste without overpowering it.
The sandwich was complemented by fresh, crisp lettuce and a slice of ripe, juicy tomato, adding a refreshing contrast to the richness of the chicken. A dollop of creamy mayo or a tangy sauce provided the perfect finishing touch, tying all the flavors together harmoniously.
The buns were soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together, their slight sweetness balancing the savory chicken. The combination of textures—from the crunch of the chicken's coating to the softness of the bun and the crispness of the vegetables—made each bite a delightful experience.
Overall, the chicken sandwich was a perfect blend of flavors and textures, with the big, juicy chicken as its star. It was a satisfying, mouthwatering meal that left me eager for the next bite.“
