Great food, well priced, friendly service, and good quality and quantity. I live in the CBD but always come here for my Chinese takeout. “Oh man, talk about a hidden gem. Lived around this restaurant my whole life and I feel like an idiot for never having gone sooner. Ordered the general tso's chicken and mongolian beef plate, general tso chicken was good but it was a little different than most other chinese places; I almost wonder if I was given honey chicken by mistake, the sauce was very light in color.

The mongolian beef was by far the best food item i've ever received from a chinese food restaurant. Very good flavor and portion size for the price, definitely worth checking out!“

I live on the Gulf Coast of Alabama and the Chinese food is absolutely terrible, small portions, yellow rice(for fried rice), and expensive for the amount of food. This was the best Chinese I've had since leaving California. It smelled great, and tasted even better, and at a reasonable price. You should appreciate what you have here, I would definitely eat there again.“

We picked up our order gave them a 50 dollar bill to include a tip and we did not receive the fried dumplings. The rest of the food was good and made to order, but don’t say you’re going to get an order of fried dumplings for free with orders of 35.00 or more if they aren’t going to honor that. When I called to mention this the person I spoke to was a little combative about it saying if it’s not on the ticket they won’t make it. Then you need to fix the problem bruh.“

I highly recommend that for the full China Doll experience. The service was great and the interior hasn't been updated since the 70's with wood panelling, tiki accent lights, and a pristine gold fish aquarium. It's exact what I wanted in an old school Americanized Chinese restaurant.“

They offer tofu dishes and let me change the sauce for variety. Delivery fee is very affordable, always arrives promptly, and they're good about following delivery instructions. I've never been disappointed, it's my go-to spot in mid city. The general tso and orange sauce is on point!

Vegetarian options: Consistently good fried tofu. I get the general tso tofu and I'm happy every time.

Parking: There are very limited parking spots on the street, some people park in the smoothie king lot but it gets really congested with people who don't know how to park.
