Shang Kitchen Reviews
Thank God we finally have a legit Chinese/canton restaurant in the city. GO HERE
Pretty solid authentic Chinese food. Sophie was great, sweet and relatable. Got super busy later on, but Sophie was great at handling things!! The dan dan noodles has a mouth numbing feeling warm taste of fuzziness, the soup dumplings were ok. The wonton fillings has fuzhounese essence, amazing.
Everything was delicious. Authentic Chinese food, with attentive & friendly service.
Thanks to the cooks & Art, our server.

Shang Kitchen on Magazine St. serves pretty solid authentic Chinese food. The flavors are savory and unique to each dish, and the food is delicious, fresh, and clearly prepared with care. The dan dan noodles have a mouth numbing feeling warm taste of fuzziness, the soup dumplings were ok, and the wonton fillings have fuzhounese essence, amazing. The dumplings and special dipping sauce are worth trying, and the noodles and beef were cooked to perfection. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the lady owner was incredibly kind. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with a warm, comfortable, calming atmosphere. It is a great spot for fresh and tasty Chinese food in New Orleans, and a fantastic place for a party of 12, with complimentary dessert. Highly recommended.
