Decent alternative to bulldog which is closed for renovations, friendly staff and chilled glasses for beer. Seems like locals like the atmosphere based on number having a good time indoors
Can't believe I've never made a review here! Rendezvous is a local dive bar that my friends and I frequent at when we are looking for a quick drink and relaxation. Cheap strong drinks every time! Pool tables available. Juke box playing. Sports/tv shows on. It's a nice little spot even with outdoor seating. If you asked me a year ago, I would've said this bar needed a face lift. Walked in to watch the Philly playoff game and shoot some pool. Very friendly bartender, ordered a beer and a cold glass, presented with no problems. ( previous review I saw said they had no glassware?) chatted with a couple folks, very friendly vibe. Shot a few games with a local named Woody, he showed me a few tricks of the trade! Had a great time.
